Yeah, that was because we all saw what a bad defense did to our record setting offense.

Now our record setting offense is going to be drafted first overall and people with a brain are worried because it is crystal clear that we can’t win with our QB room.

And Wario can’t see it.

not saying i'd be thrilled with it, but i wonder if we kick the tire on rogers as he ran Air Raid at North Texas and did well

gues he's a grad transfer as to why he's still able to enter.

not sure why he decided to go to Cal to begin with, probably killed his stock and NIL opportunity when everyone knew it was Mendoza's show - now they are riding with the 4* qb they just got from Oregon


Either way, gotta say, I'd feel better with Rogers than Emory or Nickel (if it comes to that)

if we did your point is valid, but just assuming it is just naive

pete and d$ both said they chose to go after mateer, and the only other one that we've heard anything on is Maiava. mendoza may have been uninterested and wanted to play with his brother (or maybe QB's don't want to follow-up cam ward)

Absolute worst case scenario - you take Rogers, who has tools, and open competition between him, Luke, and Emory and see who wins. The losers portal out in the spring

Rogers can execute our offense. Not the same arm talent as Ward but the same kind of skillset in terms of movement ability and playmaking. He will look better in the pocket than Emory.

Old QBs with tons of snaps win games

I would have thought he'd win the battle vs. mendoza coming out of the portal last year tbh....Wonder if it was close.

If he misses the DC hire and fields that QB room (as much as I love Nickel) then a year or two from now he’s going to actually be worrying about his job

I’d say that would be enough motivation to make something happen here because he knows it can get Mike Norvell level pretty quickly

i still cant get over pounding the podium then proceed to lose 3 out of 4 with weeks off in between those weeks to make changes that were never made. combine that w your worst recruiting class since you got hired. its been a long month

If gaby's source is the Branch brothers, and he doesn't have anyone inside Miami on this, then he could be telling the truth based on what they're telling him. If they were truly going to Georgia the entire time, and Gaby reaches them for comment, they're likely going to come up with some reason for not picking Miami. They're certainly not going to say they used Miami.
