QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

Because he tried to commit to Tulane, but when they told him they were bringing in 3 QBs, he pooped his pants.
Idk if that should be qualified as "scared to compete", that's moreso just weighing your options & recognizing probability.

QB isn't a rotational position, so if a team is going to bring in 3 other QB's, the odds aren't in your favor. And if you're someone that wants to play & not hold a clipboard all year, it's just common sense not to go to a team that's bringing in 3 other guys at your same position.

You could maybe make that afraid to compete argument for skill positions like RB, WR, DB etc., but not QB.

Carson if you’re reading this, I am sorry I disrespected you… you are amazing!!!

he can enter anytime before the spring portal closes, but i think it's fair to say that if we did get him, it would *probably be before miami starts classes in spring semester. QB's tend make the move to a new offense before spring ball
He won't be able to throw in spring practice anyways so not sure it would matter if he waited until the summer to actual start classes. Nothing stopping him from still learning the playbook and just showing up at practice to watch it. That is all he would be able to likely do anyways even if he attended classes in the spring.

not able to throw no, but learning the playbook and building rapport with the team I think would go a long way

He can be closer to his boo thing tho.

Both of those can be done while he waits until the summer to start classes. Ideally if this was to happen it would be better if he enrolled by 1/22 just so it would be done I'm just saying it isn't a drop dead date since he can't actually participate in spring practice. He can watch it either way. The telling thing is supposedly he has not signed with an agent. That implies he is at least open to returning to college and if he does he may want a change of scenery away from UGA to try and improve his draft stock.

Hoping we can attribute that to Guidry who probably felt good about it. Just another failure on his shoulders. They tried and missed on nickel's last year too so who knows how they actually felt.

I get it sometimes but it just seems we're too picky. We easily could have had Baron's half brother who went to Michigan from Tennessee. Wasn't great, but he would have been more serviceable than what we had.
The big most scary issue is when people think we get burned if it actually is we cant evaluate for ****

No, he was scared to compete. I know this for a fact.

I love how this was literally what half the board wanted leading up the bowl game.
Yeah, that was because we all saw what a bad defense did to our record setting offense.

Now our record setting offense is going to be drafted first overall and people with a brain are worried because it is crystal clear that we can’t win with our QB room.

And Wario can’t see it.
