Not in college football in this day and age.

You can't continue to get QB's in January and hope to attract offensive talent. You're bringing in 1 year rentals past high school signing day and past the portal window. So high school recruits won't give a s*** about a guy they'll never play with and portal guys will be gone.

You can't fire DCs in January, hire a new one two months later, and expect to attract defensive talent. You're giving yourself a few months to establish relationships with high school players before they're locked in and forget portal players.

He's doing this s*** so backwards, and got away with it once so he probably thinks he's right.

Some are correct, but typically at the top of the draft are the inept organizations. If he were to land in a situation like Lamar with stability I'd believe in his chances. If the Rams or 49ers landed him he'd have a **** of a chance at success.

No doubt Cam is a great player and his ability masked a lot of deficiencies, but nothing in your response explains why Ewers couldn't be productive in the offense.

We can agree to disagree but, inshallah, I hope we get to find out.

We need a QB capable of throwing at least 30 TDS in a season with a low int percentage. I think we could get better at wrs. I'm not sure we can get better at te. Not sure we can get better at rb but I think it can be a stalemate compare to this year. I think we can get better on the interior online. We have a TON of questions on defense. I can't see guidry survives what we saw. Also by overhauling the defense it might take some time for the guys to get accommodate to a new scheme and personnel. It isn't look promising at the moment but it's a while until you the spring and summer. But I must say Mario reminds of John calipari. Can he get NFL talent yes. Can he outcoach his opponent or showcase good coaching when the team needs it no. The reason Mario and calipari haven't won more is because they are average to above average coaches.

Milroe is my guy to target (the 5th one this window :ROFLMAO: ).

Pretty sure Bama would like for him to look elsewhere, and he probably would like a new start as well.

Won't come cheap, and we'd probably have to compete with ND and maybe even USC, but pair him with Martinez and our line and you won't have much drop off in offense. We need a threat to run as our signal caller. We won't have much of a intermediate-pass game, but the deep ball would go crazy.

It's still all about the defense with this team.

We lost every game this season by one possession. We just need to be a smidgen better to get to the ACCCG.
 
For the legit people on this board with actual knowledge of what’s happening with the team, is there a still a mystery QB in play that has not come to light? That seemed to be the sentiment a couple days ago.
