QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

I’d like to get Ewers, but the latest rumor I’m reading on him is Oregon. Milroe with Martinez in the backfield with our O-Line would be interesting…just line up and pound the rock. One more interesting option, supposedly M.Murphy has yet to sign his papers with Oregon St. so he might be back on the market supposedly. Wouldn’t be my first option but given the choice between him and current options on the team it’s a no-brainer.
So basically go to air raid back to caveman football................great.

I have heard the same thing about Ewers. If that is the case do not see a world where Dante Moore doesn’t hit the portal. He would be home run get and a nice bridge to nickel if he is willing to be the back up for one more year after his redshirt

Milroe is an obvious yes but he's not in the portal. Unfortunately we are getting to a point of desperation where we might need to overpay someone to enter

His pocket presence and foot work looked worse
Hard to fathom
I'm a prominent Cam supporter. I can tell you with absolute certainly his footwork and mechanics will ge criticized to **** over the spring. He got by on sheer talent. We aren't practicing like a well run team.

Altmyer gets us to 8 wins over Emory’s 6. Still nowhere near what we should get with this returning OL, Dawson, and Cam’s success here immediately.

I liked him too. Not completely sold, but personally would take him over the Gronowski guy and anyone on the current roster in a heartbeat. Definitely had good pocket presence, some mobility, and pretty good accuracy on this throws. Seems to keep his eyes downfield when moving around the pocket. Extended some plays, including a TD throw. Can run when needed. A little on the short side. His arm strength does not seem to be fantastic, but seemed pretty good with the touch throws. Decision making was overall okay, but suspect at times. He had a couple of pretty bad picks--one a jump ball down the seam that never really had a chance and one a head-scratcher that the commentator blamed in part on play design. He probably should have thrown a third pick that was right into the chest of the DB.

If Dawson takes a HC job, Cristogump should pursue North Texas HC Eric Morris for OC like he did with Jason Candle. That dude knows how to spot QB talent.
