I think Arnold needs to get out of the SEC lol

TCU makes sense but then I guess that means Hoover transfers
 
Just watched some highlights of Arnold and Weigman and gotta say, no brainer for me is Arnold.

Arnold has gamebreaking ability.

Of course highlights don't really tell the story on the mental aspect of the game. How they read defenses, etc.

Not to mention he didn’t pitch a fit when they burned his redshirt( when he probably should’ve) it’s clear he is a high character kid. Only questions is the turnovers.

Changing OC and if they are bringing in his QB I get it. He has talent and played on a team that had nothing on offense this year

Oklahoma doesn’t have the pieces that we have offensively to put around him to at least give him a legit shot of being successful. Every qb that hits the portal will have flaws
 
Weigman is a better passer, Arnold a better runner.

I just think with OL and running game, Weigman would be an all ACC type QB here.

I think when Elko came and brought Colin Klein the offense changed, and it didnt fit Weigman well. Go look at Weigman year before under Petrino as OC until his injury. It was reslly good.

You dont Weigman linking up with Brohm. That would be a pain in our tail next season.

You could have said the same thing about Bo Nix too. Give him better supporting cast and better coaching maybe he can find success as well.

Problem is, those first 2 aint entering the portal and the 3rd option is 99% likely to go you know where lol.

After those 3 it’s a crap shoot IMO and I’m glad I’m not paid to make these decisions. Castellanos is at the bottom, I know that lol. Mendoza is Emory with more starts. Idk what Arnold is, his supporting cast and OL was awful this year and the benching him/bringing him back can’t be good for any QBs psyche. Weigman is the wild card, but the injuries scare me and it’s not like he was great this year while he was healthy. I don’t think Moss is the answer either. If you get benched at USC w Riley the offense GaWd, and the replacement comes in and does pretty good with that same OL and weapons, then idk…

Maiva was ok the first game he played at usc but that 2nd game he wasn’t. What’s going on at usc ain’t moss fault. He isn’t elite but I think he can be good with a good cast around him.

Whoever the qb they go with in the portal is going to be flawed. You just have to do your homework and project what you think they could potentially be

Hey @rascon was Jackson Arnold one of the kids out there when we were coaching in HV several years back?

I’ve tried to keep track of where some of those kids ended up.
