Came back from a 20pt halftime deficit, didn't have Lykes, shot 1-17 from 3, & 58% from the Free Throw line & still Won!

What stood out was McGusty, Cross, Wong & Beverly put the team on their back & willed us to victory.

2nd half rebounding & attacking the basket is what made the difference, our athleticism is what separated us from Purdue, once we stopped playing around & hunkered down playing Defense & took better shots from the field Purdue didn't have the horses to keep up.

Our backcourt Guard play is the catalyst for this team, we have good depth at 1-3, once we get Lykes back healthy & get Timberlake healthy & in the fold we'll have a pretty **** good team this year.

**** of a team win by this Canes squad.

Exactly. Miami is pretty good once they figure out a few things.
Over the years this program has been a second half team. Think 2015 NIT came back almost every game in the later rounds. This team could finish middle of the pack in conference and be a tournament team but they are going to have to get W’s against teams like Va Tech, FSU, Louisville, Syracuse.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: the number of people in this thread legitimately calling for the most accomplished coach in the history of the program to be fired because of a bad half in the third game of a global pandemic season with our two best players injured

do y'all remember the 11 seasons in between hamilton and L? like... do you really? should we start some TBT threads on the frank haith era? my lord.
