I remember when Reddick said that about Arroyo. In the context of it it felt like he was just excited about how good he was and it made for a cool sound byte. A lot of this type of stuff is just jockeying for position much like recruiting rankings or whatever else you wanna call it

Still too many steps of evaluation left but he’s gonna be really good in the league. Someone said here he doesn’t make contested catches. I think he’s shown excellent hands personally. Go back to the first game against UiF and watch the angle from the field where Cam fired that pass behind him, around a defender, before Arroyo was even looking. Was a **** of a catch even for a WR let alone a TE.

I don’t think he will go Round 1 that’s sort of rarified air for a TE, but if he runs well someone might wanna snag him early

People forget that announcing isn’t exactly easy and you have to keep talking to fill the gaps and dead space. Every single Saturday we hear guys say off the wall stuff because saying someone could potentially be this or that is more compelling than just saying he is pretty good.

Those are not credible sites. They do a good job of compiling information but they’re just fans like us.

Jim Nagy is a real NFL guy, head of the Senior Bowl. He has a big budget to scout the nation with professional evaluators. He says Arroyo is in the mix for TE1.

Louis Riddick is a former NFL exec who is still getting interviews for league jobs. He says first rounder.

I’m not saying they are right. Nobody really knows. But this isn’t a fan-driven opinion.

People that quote those websites he did just show they don’t actually know what they are talking about, imo.
