I love that he catches this with his hands and not his body.
Back when men were men. Our shorts? Short. Our jerseys? Cropped. Looked like a Menudo video out on the field
Some observations from Canesport:
-Justin Scott continues to really look the part of an athletic DT and we think he is well positioned to win a starting job. Also keep an eye on DT Donta Simpson, who despite being a true freshman continues to work his way up the depth chart (although he was too slow off the ball on one inside run drill rep today, as when he looked up the back was already past him). Still, he’s been getting some one reps and had some solid inside run reps and is learning on the go. DE Booker Pickett is also working in with the twos at times and is pushing for an early role.
-At LB we continue to be high on Chase Smith, as he’s looking the part and is pushing for a starting job. The injuries that hampered him earlier in his career appear to have finally gone by the wayside.
-On offense the QB play continues to be inconsistent with Carson Beck out. None of the quarterbacks appears to really be separating themselves as a No. 2 option to Beck.
-S Zechariah Poyser also continues to look really good and seems to be locking down one starting spot with his play.
The only one getting reps I have expectations for are Nickel and he should still be in high school, struggles were expected with him.Concerning, but certainly should be expected.
That must be why @DMoney kept comparing Nickel to TebowConcerning, but certainly should be expected.
I'm in wait and see mode with Nickel. I have no expectations good or bad for his future. The only one getting reps I have expectations for are Nickel and he should still be in high school, struggles were expected with him.
Wow that's a first for you. I figured you would have already written him off by this pointI'm in wait and see mode with Nickel. I have no expectations good or bad for his future.
I wish I could write you off into outer space. Such a little dweeb.Wow that's a first for you. I figured you would have already written him off by this point
If Chase Smith is starting then LB recruiting needs to be Nuked and overhauledSome observations from Canesport:

Do they switch every quarter hour?Love the detail that they sit in the meeting room the way they line up on the field.
- From a line of scrimmage perspective, it was clear that freshman Donta Simpson was getting some meaningful reps against starter-level players.
lol Chase is not a scrub he just couldn’t stay healthyIf Chase Smith is starting then LB recruiting needs to be Nuked and overhauled
He played last year and wasn't good. And now he is like a 6th year guy and we are expecting him to now finally break out?lol Chase is not a scrub he just couldn’t stay healthy
What had he done when healthy?lol Chase is not a scrub he just couldn’t stay healthy
