l was with Pete at the tailgate yesterday hanging out with him and a few other commits. He told me if we keep winning we’ll have a shot. Pretty obvious but he didn’t seem too confident
 
he has never said anything favorable about us
he has never mentioned us in any list
he's been linked to lsu since forever

he's not coming.
and that is 100% ok.

He’s unflappable. His legs are something we’ve never had or never used with a QB. It’s very hard to beat that VT defense without a QB who can run the ball.

Yup, the game has changed. IMO, to win it all you'll need a mobile QB. The days of winning it all with a drop back QB who can't run are over.

Tom Brady's an outlier. Noticed that the top QBs are becoming more mobile - Watson, Wilson, Wentz, etc...

Have you not watched any games or read HurricaneVisions breakdowns? Like **** the problem with the offense hasn't been Richt.
 
Was just kidding about Surtain but my actual hope is to hire Shannon as the defensive specialist and have him work with the entire defense with an emphasis on linebackers. I know its a super long shot but one can hope can't he.

This kid is not lying to us or setting any false hopes.
Pops is guiding him to LSU.
That is 100% OK.
We'll get ours.

However, I am amazed that they do not see what is going on at LSU? They are average at best and that entire coaching staff will be gone after next year, two years at most.

I really don't understand the infatuation with Randy, outside of him being a Cane. If he wasn't a Cane, would you want him? Have you seen the major regression with UF's defense this year under him? I want our 10th coach to be someone who's an asset to the unit he's coaching along with being a recruiter. With Randy, you see he hates recruiting. Having him come here to just coach the LBs (which I don't think he's great at) while ignoring recruiting is a waste.

Forget Shannon or Surtain give me Ed Reed or Ken Dorsey as our 10th coach.
Reed over Safeties and move Banda to LB's
Dorsey would be a tough one because Jon Richt is QB coach and i don't see Mark Richt giving up play calling anytime soon or Dorsey coming in as a co co OC co QB coach but man it would be sweet.
Shannon and Surtain can GTFO and both go to LSU.
Our 10th coach needs to be a big splash.
Of course I'm just dreaming big here but **** no to Shannon or Surtain

Mom and dad were at game, supposedly they will be back this weekend, with Surtain JR. too. Oh boy ...
 
apparently Ivins posted something about surtain and miami that got SOTU excited on twitter. anyone know what that was all about?
