Patrick Surtain jr.

Yea i was suprised how short Rozier is 5'11 at best...but man oh man he comes to play every game..First time in a long time after I felt ltike this but after he threw his 3rd int i wasnt worried about him at all

He’s unflappable. His legs are something we’ve never had or never used with a QB. It’s very hard to beat that VT defense without a QB who can run the ball.

Yup, the game has changed. IMO, to win it all you'll need a mobile QB. The days of winning it all with a drop back QB who can't run are over.

As Usual right on. I loved the Rozier QB draw play for a TD. We been stomped and put away by that play numerous times by VT IIR

These DCs are too good now. You need to have a QB who can help you in the run game.

We saw how Foster teed off on us last year with a sitting duck at qb. Completely ruined our game plan last year.

If his dad wasn’t all over L$U and opened his eyes to what Rumph is doing with 3* level recruits like Michael Jackson, he’d realize his son wouldn’t have to leave the area for elite level coaching. Just going to have to kick L$U’s *** week 1 next year to show him it was the wrong choice.

Can someone explain to meet his dad’s infactuation with a program that didn’t think he was good enough to offer a ship to? I’ve never seen someone be a front runner for a team that dissed him like that

Probably meaningless, but...

Odd comment about Malik.

I thought it was a condescending comment until I realized it was the father and not the son. That totally changes how I interpret it.

I knew it was the dad. What makes it odd to me is that an adult head ball coach with a kid being recruited by UM publicly stated what he did about Malik. The comment about not being sold on Malik was unnecessary and just struck me as weird from a guy who should know better.

Good point.

Amazing what Rumph has done. Top DBs should be lining up to be coached by him.

Lol; I'll put it like this...with or w/o Surtain II, we rolling. Either get on this []_[] train and put on for your city or get ran over by it....that's how I'm feeling right now.

This. I don’t get it, usm isn’t far from New Orleans but LSU didn’t want him.

We could always hire Pat Surtain Sr. as our 10th coach and give him a "defensive specialist" title. Just a thought lol
