As much as I'd love to keep them all, that's just way too many studs to stick in one recruiting class. Where are they all going to play? At the very least, they have to wait one full year before starting (JJ, Redwine, Young, Bandy will start next year). If Smith or Carter were candidates to MAYBE be a LB, I can understand.

Yeah, I know, sign them all and figure out the rest later. Butm in all seriousness, how will it all work? I see 3 CBs and 3 safeties/CB hybrids.

When somebody get tired you let the next man are group go in.

All these kids would be getting Major PT by their sophmore year... none will redshirt. Teams are playing more 4 and 5 wide now more than ever... these kids can't get here quick enough. We've been extremely fortunate on the injury front as it pertains to our DB's. We have zero depth.

For 2019:
We only have M Young and Bandy at CB plus this class... blades, Jobe, Ivey. (Need one more. If M Jackson goes early, we need two)
We only have Carter and Smith at Safety plus this class... Frierson and Hall. I do not expect Knowles to be here and Finely will most likely move to lb.

All these guys would be either 1st or 2nd string by their Sophmore year!

All of the guys have played safety in highschool too. You get them here and then you found out if they are a cb or safety..

He has the ability more than any db we are recruiting probably in turning ints into returns for tds which is something we don’t have right now on the team.

It would be a huge deal if we could get him. It's been forever since we were able to keep the absolute top guys at nearly every spot home in SFL.

Could you imagine if we pulled Surtain and Campbell and kept Jobe in this DB class! That would be, as currently rated, the #1 ,#3 , #1 1, #1 2,#1 9 and a severely underrated #49 to round out our class. 5 of the top 20 CBs would be a massive win. Not even including Hall as a safety.

I'd say both Jobe and Ivey are underated where they are at, but Ivey could be in that top 20 also if he wasn't hurt last year.

Let’s stop thinking like like the team we’ve been the last 15 years. Let’s start thinking like a dominant team. Wealthy people don’t stop wanting to make more money. Saban ain’t flying helicopters so he can have a good starter. Uga and bama have 3 deep running backs. Look at what we did to VT. We need to that to teams that are deep and conditioned. Look at our d line and just imagine our secondary with that depth. We will go full speed at 3 deep for 4q’s and 3 ot’s If needed. We need everyone. We need the first 3 rounds of the draft to be filled with canes again. We need practice to scare the sh-t out of soft recruits. We need the hardest job in college football to be a coach from a p5 school that’s assigne to this area. I want that mf’er to lose sleep trying to find a way to talk a recruit out of coming here. I want every school to think that their players are potential flips to UM. I want all of them. Campbell Tyson Ivey Frierson Blades Hall !! F the talk about who would you rather have. We want all of them.

Looking at those list makes me smile!! BUT the funny thing is, it will be so much more recruits their we might not get a list of the full crew in attendance because I'm sure some will not get put on the list!! I'm sure recruits like Adullah and Randy Russell will be in attendance but won't even get mentioned, SoFla football will be deep at Hard Rock this Saturday!!
 
I just want someone to level with these kids and explain that it was completely understandable to not want to play for Al Golden and think other schools were better "business decisions." But Miami rules the state of Florida now. UF is a joke and FSU is trying to pay to a D3 cupcake to play them at the end of the season so that FSU can avoid the embarrassment of missing a bowl game. If you don't want to put on for your city, then you have no pride, no character, and no loyalty. You want to leave Miami - fine, but don't dare go around claiming you are from the 305 EVER again. You had your chance to be a hometown hero but turned your back on your city.
