Ehh.......a few names to throw out there for the board to chew on:

Dana Bible - former OC at N C State

John Donovan - current OC at Vandy and a Jersey guy

Brian White - RB coach at Florida and former OC at a couple of different schools

Steve Kragthorpe - QB coach at LSU

i would ride with kragthorpe, but I remember reading something about him not being in the best of health. I like the names you have there. idk if anyone has brought up Josh Heupel, but he's the Qb coach/co OC @ OU. He would be a nice up and comer IMO

Of those I'd probably lean towards Donovan

I didn't like Oklahoma's offense this season, too pass happy.

Vandy averaged over 38 pts/game over their final 7 games. I think Donovan would be a nice pick................and he's another Jersey guy so he should fit in nicely with our current staff..

LULZ at the last 2. Let's hire ufag's rb corch because ufag's O is so dynamic. Michael J. ***thorpe can't coordinate his own movements let alone a college offense. LSU's letting him hang around to stay insured.

Y'all also forget Donovan put up those numbers at Vanderbilt with one of the worst QBs in college football.

Still haven't seen a better name than Glen Thomas.

Everyone seems to be talking about mediocre re-hashed guys. That just doesn't fit the type of coordinator a successful/ rising HC usually hires. They want guys who are looking to advance their careers and still have a huge incentive to perform at a high level.

My guess is a new OC is named by the end of the week. Largely because i'm sure Golden is a guy who always has a short list.

If we hire an OC that has no QB corching experience like say, for instance, Matt Lubedick from Puke, that will indicate that there will be more of a staff shakeup after signing day. I have an uncomfortable feeling, which I've had from day one of this NCAA mess, that Barrow might be in the NCAA's crosshairs. Seems his name came up a lot in the stories I read.

If we hire a guy like Lubedick, who has no QB corching experience, that might indicate that Barrow might get a couple years off on an unpaid vacation and that Corch Duh' would move over to corch LBs. Then, we could hire a dedicated QB corch like Fancy Boy Dorsey (if he's not already hired by Chud) to work with QBs and replace the spot left open by Barrow.

Meanwhile, over on CS: There is a porster claiming that James Coley (yes, the Fear the Spear Nole guy) will be our next OC and that it's almost a done deal. Not sure I buy it and if it is true not sure how I feel about it. I'll just take it with a huge grain of salt and say hmmmm....

Doubt it. Seriously
