****, that's the last thing we need w/ the talent that comes out of BTW. and this would especially hurt, given his past relationship w/ UM - former coach and both of his sons played here.

If Thomas does decide to leave then he was never coming in the first place. GoldenAl and staff gave him every reason to be here and it makes sense for him to be here.... dude just doesn't want to rep for the home team. **** shame.

I know for a fact that Ice and Golden got off on the wrong foot.

When Corch was fired Ice took his spot and became a coach on offense. He was involved with bowl prep for the Son Bowl before Golden stepped in and removed him from that position claiming it was a compliance issue. Also, Golden came in and got rid of a lot of people (Corey Bell, Cindy Garcia, Brent Blaylock, etc) who Ice was tight with. It was only a matter of time before things turned ugly IMO.

Didn't Random have Kirkland to Miami? How does this make him right? If anything he is 0 for 1 with Thomas pending.

Thomas still very much in play for Miami.

If the Canes thought dropping Kirkland would prevent them from getting Thomas, I seriously doubt they would have done it this late in the process.

This^^^ How come more people aren't talking about this? First Ice states that MT had given his word to USC coaches that he was going to visit them and he had to learn that a man keeps his word. Fast forward to today, and now it's okay for DK to break his word on committing by Feb. 1st and also for MT to cancel his trip to Georgia, after having given them HIS WORD that he would go. Double standard at it's best.

not to belabor the point, but you can characterize a mid-week visit an OV, but it is not the same as the atmosphere and time spent over a weekend with the coaches and other recruits (particularly the weekend thomas was supposed to come)
