Anyone else get the feeling we're recruiting against Lice Harris? This dude's trying to act like he has no influence on his players when anyone who has spent any time in the area knows that he has a ton of influence. The whole story about Lice saying that Thomas had to honor his commitment to travel to USC when he was thinking about joining that giant recruiting weekend on the 18th at UM now rings hollow with his recent cancellation of the trip to UGA doesn't it? Lice is harboring animosity toward Al just like a couple other corches in the 305 are because their buddy Shanntard got the ziggy.

If he is truly making a business decision...he will go to 'Bama. I said that back in November HERE.

Why would someone go to FSU right now? They're trending down, have basically no coaches and are one mediocre season away from having a new coach. I can totally understand why a defender would go to Bama right now, but FSU? SMH

Using that logic, why would anyone chose Miami? NCAA issues, **** poor fanbase and basically a .500 record the last three years against decent competition.

Because Al Golden is phenomenal at selling the finer things at Miami. What he has done these two seasons is nothing short of remarkable. People have gotten greedy and used to getting big time guys, which is fine. What people continue to understate is the fact that he is doing all of this with a ****** hand. People want to act like all things are even, when the fact of the matter is that they are not. Al Golden has done an amazing job recruiting here. Gotta win on the field, but recruiting should be the last thing people complain about.

Todo esto. Whatever people do know, and it's probably legit that they've heard, is a bunch of rumblings. That's not a shot at anyone in particular. It's a reality of recruiting. It's more of a message for the guys on here who haven't been through this before. Just let things play out.

This is how I explained the last 7 days before signing day to a friend of mine:

You remember in the movie Jurassic Park when the TRex first breaches the fence and the kids are by the car? This enormous dinosaur is almost face to face with the freaked out kid. The doctor/historian guy tells the kid to stay as still as humanly possible. Think of all the stories and rumors this week as the dinosaur, we (as fans) are the kid and movement is any worry.

Or maybe we are the dinosaur, Al Golden is moving, and the recruits are the worried?

our team hasn't peaked yet while FSU blew their load last year. FSU has no coaches and the NCAA thing is going to be a thing of the past very shortly. Yeah, the fanbase but most kids are more worried about winning and getting to the league

Because Al Golden is phenomenal at selling the finer things at Miami. What he has done these two seasons is nothing short of remarkable.
