Who cares what you do in your private life.
I guess that's my overall mindset... I think people care/judge way less than society seems to think.
Who cares what you do in your private life.
Getting tired of this whole *** thing. It's so popular now. You can't watch a family drama without a *** couple in the cast. Does this have to be constantly shoved down out throats now? America is trying so hard to be PC that it's getting comical. I don't care what people's sexual preferences are when sports is concerned. Martina Navratilova came out 30 years ago when she was blowing everyone off the court. Didn't matter then, doesn't matter now. I have a *** friend and we play hoops together and I'm not offended by his gayness and that makes me a better person? Swell.
You are a dinosaur. The majority doesn't agree with that attitude anymore. The world is moving towards more tolerance, not less.
What you are advocating is not tolerance but rather acceptance and celebration of his lifestyle. Matter of fact, Kirijax was actually demonstrating and conveying tolerance. So is tolerance no longer what's required? Now we've moved onto forced acceptance and forced celebration? Where's the tolerance for those who disagree with that lifestyle?
You are not forced to celebrate his "lifestyle" the same way you are not forced to celebrate that he is black. Doesn't change the fact that he was born that way. And for that reason alone, those of us with a brain tend to accept minorities and homosexuals these days. I'm guessing you're that guy that believes this dude chose to be ***, right?
What would you see as the appropriate response to his "coming out?" A negative, neutral or positive response?
And what does it matter to you if someone believes he chose to be ***? Are you saying you wouldn't tolerate and accept that viewpoint? Would seem to be pretty close minded if so.
My personal opinion is that we should not have to tolerate anyone's opinion or persuasion. Tolerate someone's existence, but not their views or way of life if they differ from our own. I appreciate the free exchange of ideas and opinion. I guess that's the non-fascist part of me. I welcome opposing views and opinions. If my argument is not strong enough to persuade someone, I won't resort to shouting down or the use of so-called "popular opinion". Even if my opinion is held by the majority.

Sam's NFL stock has mysteriously dropped over night..... But yeah no big deal.
Link? That would be the story now, right?

Lol at the last part of that link.
I could care less what two people do in privacy of their own homes, however, don't try to stick this BS in my face as if it is normal. I am sure they're going to parade this guy out like he's some kind of hero. I am not PC and have no future plans of given up my freedom of speech in order to be so.Getting tired of this whole *** thing. It's so popular now. Comes out and admits he is ***. Good for him as a 1st team All-American
Why does the *** community think that people care about what they like in the bedroom? Do we need to hear that Duke Johnson likes anal?
i think that in this case it's noteworthy. breaking that barrier in the nfl is huge because it completely destroys the notion that all *** dudes are effeminate sissies. this kid had 11.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss this season. between this, kluwe and ayanbadejo's comments, and jason collins coming out, this is a huge step towards social progress as it pertains to men's sports.
Does the db in db305 stand for d1ck booty? You're going super over the top for the *** in this thread, slick.
They hoped they would change & did everything in their power to be straight. They hated being ***. But their attempts at being straight just didn't work. Why? Because they had no choice. They were born that way.

Let's change the context from *** men to manwhores who are unfaithful in marriage.. Do you still see it the same way?
Just curious.

Nope and hope you don't.

Two of my friends came out after college. In college, both took down more hot girls than you could ever imagine. These guys were not sissies. After they came out, they told me how miserable they were pretending to be something they were not. Both said they knew they liked guys when they were in elementary school but they did everything to suppress it (which made them more depressed). They both hoped they would change and did everything in their power to be straight. They hated being ***. But their attempts at being straight just didn't work. Why? Because they had no choice. They were born that way. And I, for one, have learned in my life that it is both wrong and illogical to reject someone because of an immutable trait like sexual orientation or skin color. My refusal to "accept" some idiot's viewpoint to the contrary is not close minded. Do I think homosexuality is weird? Sure do. Why? Because I am programmed to like women, just like my two buddies from college were programmed to like men.
Strange discussion. I'm straight. One of my brothers was ***. We were raised in the same household, same parents, etc. I don't believe for a second that my brother chose to be ***, just like I never chose to be straight. Even though I knew he was ***, it was not an issue for me, but I never really understood why he was that way. Bottom line is he was born that way. I can't see discriminating against them in any way. But, we've gone way past tolerance and into celebration, which I also don't understand. I don't see what there is to celebrate.

I take it you're OK with those who are intolerant of the view that **** are "born that way"? You're open minded, right?
I am not ok with those who are intolerant of that view just like I am not ok with those who are intolerant of the view that 2+2=4. That does not make me close minded; it makes me logical and reasonable.

One is a mathematical fact and the other.. well, that is like, your opinion, man.
Being *** is wrong.
