Infractions committee over. Shalala departs in silence. 7 boxes of files wheeled out by bellman.

ACC commish John Swofford reiterates that length of Miami case "was a penalty in itself."

#UM #NCAA Committee of Infractions meeting is over. #Canes heading home.

Time served... LOIC dropped...

Either this or we will see the NCAA in court.

I actually hope Shalala sues their asses. Unfortunately I think the NCAA knows they're ****ed if they take her on. I would allow them to give us time served and still sue their asses and bring the NCAA down.

I personally want the black cloud lifted. A lawsuit would allow opposing coaches that much more time to feed recruits with bull**** lies about our impending sanctions

IF the NCAA gave time served and Miami still sued how would opposing coaches use that against Miami? We would know our fate and would still be going after them for a BS witch hunt? Make them think twice about ever ******** with this program again. I think walking away when you have the ammo we have is short sighted.

Though no timeline for a ruling has been set, #ACC Commissioner John Swofford hopeful it will be made before start of football season. #UM

#UM #NCAA infractions hearing took approximately 16 1/2 hours total

Manny Navarro @Manny_Navarro
#UM football coach Al golden was the first guy out the door when hearing ended. Like he was shot out of a cannon

Probably has real work to do.

No, 2.5 years is nothing, neither is the media endlessly bringing it up or the negative recruiting.

Early finish, Golden leaving like he was shot out of a cannon, Shalala in total silence.

[John Madden Analysis]

This is either really good, or really bad

@dennisdoddcbs covered #USC hearings. Said that lasted 3 days. #UM lasted 16 1/2 hours, shorter obviously. Good sign? Nobody knows

LOL, this is what i'm thinking as well. A person either storms out in a situation like this because there was on overwhelming sense of justice being served....or the "stormee" was ****ed off because there was an overwhelming sense of injustice being served. I'm nervous because Donna wasn't throwing up "U"s..... :/

There are a ton of reasons Golden could have been in a rush and that fact that Donna wasn't high-steppin was because it's over now and she's a professional and not about to gloat etc.

please,please,please
