Miami vs NCAA Hearings Day 2

If what I'm hearing is true, then we might be able to play for a title again in 2018.

Thanks, Randy

Oh, you mean Randy the ONLY guy that saw the rat for what he was?

That's what Randy claims! If he made that claim and then his head recruiter does the exact opposite you really think Randy didn't know? GTFOOH! Let's not forget that Randy used to be the bag man for Uncle Luke back in the day when the players were getting bonuses for big hits. Yeah the rotten Onion is now squeaky clean?

Yes, the guy who had nearly his entire staff and a ton of his players hanging out with the guy

charles robinson, is that you? did nevin tell you that insider information twice?

I am shocked that your would defend RS, there are still supporters left.

Let me break it down this way, either:

1. RS actively told his staff and players to stay away from NS AND they didn't listen...

or

2. RS did nothing or little in terms of advising to stay away from NS AND the players/coaches hung around NS

Either way, RS had no clue or no control. Pick your poison.

The other day the consensus here seemed to be that if the F.B.I. couldn't build a case against Shapiro then no one else could be expected to see him for who he was. After thinking about it I disagree. Maybe it's a Miami thing and I wouldn't understand but he seems the portrait of a scumbag. It's one thing to need time to build a criminal case, but another entirely to not realize this guy was a major violation waiting to happen.

i'm only defending shannon, and our case, to the extent of what we know. all that we know of right now is that 8 of his players and 2 assistant coaches were confirmed to have been wrapped up with shapiro. to say that "nearly his entire staff and a ton of his players" were, without a doubt, involved in this is why this case is as big of a circus as it is. would i be surprised if more were involved? absolutely not. but i'm not going to sit back and do exactly what robinson and the douchebag talking heads are doing by making those condemnations without solid evidence. 8 out of 80+ players and 2 assistant coaches are hardly a majority of anything.

Can't hear what anybody is saying behind those closed doors, but it has gotten loud a few times here this afternoon #NCAA #Infractions #UM

I hate to break it to you but it was more than 2 coaches and more than 8 players. The NCAA may only find concrete stuff on 2 coaches and 8 players but that stuff likely happened. Proving it is a different question. Use your instincts, do you truly believe it was limited to 2 coaches?

Just exchanged hellos with John Swofford at Miami infractions hearing. Sending tremendous message of loyalty to ACC by being here.

Did you edit your post because I did not intentionally do that? My apologies.

Hindsight is 20/20. The dude bilked a bunch of professionals, including cops and well-heeled businessmen, out of a billion dollars. Obviously, from that very basic bit of evidence, he was very good at conning people and keeping his identity as a scumbag under wraps. Do you think so many people would trust someone that was so easily known as a scumbag and thief with their life savings?

It's easy NOW to see that he's a piece of ****; it very clearly wasn't all that easy for the people he bilked out of a billion clams to see that he was a dirtbag.

nah it happens. but i think the big thing here is that you are correct in that there were two other assistants that were fingered in this thing by shapiro. however, one is currently and the other was formerly on alabama's staff and nothing will come of it.

LULZ at this board flipping out over a lame unsubstantiated comment by that fat piece of taco meat, WoManny, and getting all worked up over some lame jokes by some dudes trying too hard to be funny. The ncaa was tearing into UM BEFORE they even got to dealing with the institution? Yep. That makes a lot of sense.

That fat tub of goo with his constant anti-UM agenda is the LAST guy any of you dudes should be listening to. He knows less that you do about what's going on in there.

Buck up! Some of you guys must walk around scared that a dastardly coyote is going to drop an anvil on you from 30th floor window. Scary motherfvckers.
