Miami Pro Day, April 3rd

those guys weren't recruited by every program in the country. gtfoh.
gilbert is plagued w/ injuries. seantrel was the 5 star and will get drafted high.
linder was highly recruited, not by everyone. neither was Cornelius, not eve close. neither was Rodgers, neither was porter. clements was recruited regionally. robinson? not a 4 star.

Robinson not a 4*? https://rivals.yahoo.com/miami/foot...inson-82014;_ylt=AlKMU89rsPLqBZVZY6WNE0dDspB4

Linder was highly recruited but not by everyone?....What..? What did I say? you don't even make sense

Porter had offers from the big 3, Clemson, Tennesee, Michigan
Cornelius was iirc committed to FSU at one point and had offers by other major programs
Rodgers had offers from UF, UGA, Nebraska Notre Dame Ohio State, Tennesse

Some of you guys make my friggin head hurt and on top of it you have the stones to say people are fabricating things when I'm providing LINKS to pages that clearly state that YOU are the one fabricating things

Robinson (39), Porter (60), Wheeler (21), Gilbert (92), Cornelius (61) were all composite 3*, none of which were in the top 20 on their position. They all pretty much performed like your average 3* player.

Henderson, Linder, maybe Clements were the only players that "everyone" wanted.

Those players had offers from A LOT of MAJOR programs. I don't care what their composite ranking was. LOOK AT THEIR OFFERS! You're arguing semantics here, chief. You are not arguing the point.

At the very least, coaches at a school like Temple or Duke for that matter would murder to have players of this caliber. Where are the Jarretts? The Wilkersons? There is toooooo much fail on that list for it to be solely on the players. Like I said (and like you weren't able to understand) coaches at a lot of major programs wanted these very "untalented" guys.

side note* I only mentioned Wheeler because he outplayed our starting C who was a HS all american. Clearly there was something there.

WOAH.

‏@mortreport 1m
Miami OT Seantrel Henderson didn't help himself today - "quit" his Pro Day workout halfway through it. No explanation yet. Disappointing.

you have to blame kehoe here correct???? I mean he was his coach

no, its Jeff Stoutland's and Art Kehoe's fault, cause he sucked under both...

or maybe the kid is just a loser that never had the necessary want in him to succeed no mater how talented he is

what diegocane said. aside from linder, Henderson and clements, most of those guys were 3 star guys.

...Beyond today, one NFC scout said his ability to grasp NFL offenses, positive marijuana tests, and UM suspensions remain red flag.

Seantrel'sagent,David Levine, said Seantrel did not quit Pro Day but did not partake in final 2drills because hewas"dehydrated and feltsick."

Henderson will dine with Dolphins officials next Thursday night, then work out for Miami (along with numerous other players with local ties) on Friday.

So you make a case for bad development and bring up Wheeler which would be good development.

Look I'm not defending any coaches but its not true that Robinson, Porter, Cornelius, etc were top shelf national recruits.

I was able to understand everything, you said everyone wanted these guys which wasn't true. Now you can change your argument if you want. Not to mention this staff didn't even recruit these guys.

Can anyone remember a senior class with less talent? These last couple years drafts have been impressively embarassing

Last year?

Again, you're arguing semantics. You know what my point was. Stop creating straw men just to play contrarian. The guys I mentioned were guys that received offers from a lot of major programs. They were offered by a lot of the major programs because they sucked????

Clearly, you do not understand hyperbole. You've got to be mentally handicapped if you're focusing your entire argument on that, especially when I went in detail, player-by-player, with evidence to my point that these guys were talented when they got here.

Your last statement is laughable. Implying this staff didn't want these kids? The same staff that offered Armbrister, Darius Smith, brought in Mike Williams, etc. C'mon man. This staff would have killed to have these players at Temple. But hey, you might be right, because with the offers some of these kids had they would have never given Temple a second look.

I really really hope somebody takes a flyer on Shayon. Everything he's been through, I hope he gets his paycheck and plays in the league a long time.
