Miami Pro Day, April 3rd

LMAO at Pat O'Donnell popping up as many reps on the bench as Seantrel Henderson. Impressed with O'Donnell, and it's pretty emblematic of Seantrel's issues.

the few practices I went to this past month...Pat was the only UM guy out there working, running and working with our new guys...long NFL career ahead

Golden wasn't lying when he said the punter was our most impressive player last fall

Slowest Miami team of all time? Man those numbers are depressing. I felt all year we looked slow and these numbers back that up.

Hurns will have a solid career in the NFL... Most guys thought Shannon reached on him because he was hurt alot in high school... He turned out just fine and exceeded everybody expectations of him here.. Kid had one of the best seasons ever here at WR...

For his sake, I hope Hurns goes to a New England or a Denver. A team with a QB that take advantage of a WR like him. He is solid and dependable and should have nice career in NFL.

Lmao!! so Tyrone Cornelius ran a 4.73 and jumped 32.5 inches, Jimmy Gaines ran a 4.77 and jumped 33 inches. okayyyy

And mf'kin AJ Highsmith, all 5-10.6 inches of him (yes, same a Mo Hagens), ran a 4.79 and only jumped 31.5 inches.

Pathetic.

Our defense will be better next year. There's no way it isn't.

Definitely the scheme.

So most of us were right, AJ Highsmith only passed Coach D's eyeball test. Kid we'll probably end up a really good coach someday.

there is no way shayon green ran 4.58. that would've been the 2nd fastest 40 time for DE at this year's combine, behind clowney's 4.53. don't you think the 2nd fastest DE at the combine would have been invited to the combine?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft/combine/_/id/31

Even if he's really a 10th slower, that's still moving for his size. 4.68 is a great time for him.

May have run a tenth faster if he was at the combine.
That cow field sure looks like it slows people down.

What's funny is that Shayon probably ran faster.

Talk to an NFL scout and ask them what they are looking for and their thought process.

I have. They told me that, like any recruiter in any industry, you err on the side of caution. You never artificially inflate a players abilities, it's really the exact opposite.
You are looking for reasons not to pay the player, because the more bad recommendations you give about drafting a player, the farther you get away from that promotion.

I'm not saying that Shayon is a 4.4 guy, but that time he ran was more than likely, NOT the lowest time.
Probably a median or on the higher side.

This stuff, the Henderson stuff really speaks to what the staff had to deal with over the past three years. Staff did some crazy stuff, but with all due respect to the guys that left this year, man, so happy they are gone. This team will be led by Duke, Tracey and the likes and they are not taking ****. They were the ones twitting how embarrassing it was to lose to Duke. They are not just talking but putting in the time in the weight room. It took that talented guys in this graduating class their last year to buy in. Butch never dealt with a country club mentality here!!!

Not necessarily, Im sure they have their top prospects nationally and would you invite Shayon Green? I know i wouldn't have because no one knows who he is besides us. with that being said this is what Pro day is all about. making sure you dont miss any prospects that could possibly be a gold mind. that WR from Indiana ran a 4.39 and he wasn't invited either. the Scouts are now watching all his film now.

I think the Jaguars take Morris late. The man who he was coached by during his best season here will take a chance on him and convince the team he knows how to use him and will bring him in for depth and give him a chance to battle.

This is what I'm thinkin too. Jax and Cleveland are gonna take multiple QB's and let them battle it out IMO. But the Jax/ Fisch situation just seems logical.
