I could see it but there are a lot of talented receiving TEs in this class. Gonna have to really separate himself from the lot. Needs to have a great combine.
Me personally, I don't know how you don't take Jake Butt before any TE as of right now.
OJ Howard could easily be drafted before him.
PFF has Howard graded as one of the most balanced TE's in cfb (including as the best run blocking TE in the nation, and predicts him to win the John Mackey Award:
"The nation’s most balanced tight end, Howard led the way with an 82.0 grade as a run blocker to go with a strong 78.6 grade as a receiver. He caught all but one of his 38 catchable targets while averaging 7.2 yards after the catch per reception. Alabama fans may still be waiting for Howard to be unleashed in the passing game but his weekly contribution in all phases does not go unnoticed."
What are the legit numbers on Njoku when it comes to his 40 and weight? He looks like the listed 245lb to me, but one draft "expert" I discussed him with thought he was only about 220lbs, and dinged him because he though he was more or less just an oversized WR that offered literally nothing inline in the pros. I think he his blocking is overly maligned. He isn't used inline much, but he stood up Chubb 1 on 1 several times vs NC State. He may not be a good inline blocker, but as strong and tough as he is, I think pro coaches have decent clay to work with there.
Lol @ OJ Howard. Dude can't block that we'll I could care less what pff says. Add to it he is the king of the 5 yard dump off and run out of bounds.
Every year our fans under rate our guys for envy of other programs. Nfl scouts give a f÷ck about that..um pedigree at the te position gives a bump just based off that. He'll Eric Swoope our former power forward is logging mins at TE this year. If Njoku decides to enter..he will make alot of the names touted in here look regular at the combine. Howard has Brad Kayaa legs lmao

Njoku doesnt play te he is just listed there. Herndon starts at te and njoku is playing in the slot majority of the time. Basically all his catches he is flexed out.
If Njoku were to declare, does anybody here actually think Bucky Hodges would test better than this freak of nature?
The others don't have the long range TD ability that Njoku.
still hope he comes back help the program and still get back draft status without any doubt next year.
6. Tennessee Titans: Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
The Titans stop the run well and get after the quarterback pretty consistently, but the major area of weakness in their defense is the secondary. Both cornerback and safety need to be addressed, so why not take the best player available who happens to satisfy one of those two major needs?
I hadn't listed Quincy Wilson in my 2017 NFL Mock Draft a few updates ago because he hasn't started for very long, so I thought he might return to school. However, Charlie Campbell reported in the NFL Draft Rumor Mill that both Wilson and Jalen Tabor plan to declare early, and I'd have to believe that some team will fall in love with Wilson's immense talent level and select him in the top 10.
seems like yesterday pops was on here....
