Would love to know how he "entered" the Portal in June. Fascinating. I wonder if the NCAA knows?

I would think JUCOS can. . . HS kids getting paid legally these days.

I know we had a lot of turnover but they must be counting PWOs here.

Edit: just looked at Rivals and manually counted 27 scholarship players, including all the way back to Big Baby last August.

Including walk-ons Justin Wood (LS) and Jayden George (QB, Jeff's son).

And then, on3 lists 35, not 34.

Including walk-ons William Hawkins (WR), Souleymane Bangoura (CB), and Stone Springman (K).

So...what gives...

There were several guys I wish had stayed. I think a few will have impactful seasons at the schools to which they transferred. But the overwhelming majority were replaced by upgrades.

Two guys I noticed that didn’t transfer — Zion and Chase. Can’t wait for the hot take thread closer to the season, they’ll definitely be part of my post.
