Knowing Mario, I think he has a target in mind, whether or not they are in the portal yet.

I have a feeling we’re going to give Emory the keys to the offense and see how he performs in the spring. They’ll probably re-evaluate in the spring portal window if a prominent QB name enters the portal.

I don’t think Emory can beat out Luke if given an even chance….

Not seeing where is Emory is all that special.All his glory is coming from beating Clemson which wasn’t that good as it turns out.Other than that and the fact he broke his arm diving for a first down what makes him the certain starter for next year if we don’t get a portal QB?

IMO and I’m no QB guru by any means I haven’t seen much more from him than a true freshman in Luke would bring to where he’d automatically get the starting nod if we don’t get a portal QB.

And if we do get a portal QB I don’t think Emory ever starts here and again this is just my opinion and that and 5 bucks might get you a cup of coffee.
