The interesting part of the post is about a QB who there is talk of us getting. The rest of the gata porsters said Garcia and Vadergriff and the dude who started the convo said neither of those two were the QBs he was hearing........Preston Stone was the name he was hearing

Crown @TimeB0mb then. He theorized it because of the TX connects. I had a hard time seeing it. Dad is a big time SMU booster.

I read that too. He claimed to have some sources in Miami. I don't know which UF posters are considered credible (seems like an oxymoron) but he could very well have just been reading this board for the past 24 hours and posted that.

Don't know much about his family ties etc. but he is a top level talent committed to SMU and was primarily recruited by Lashlee so it could make sense.
 
none of the players mentioned are taking blueshirts. you guys are crazy. we're not alabama, and programs barely do it anyway. the idea of having 2 or 3 in one year is completely insane. it's not happening. ishmael and borregales are not paying their way onto the football team. stop bringing this up.

as for divaad wilson, he has 3 years of eligibility left, it's a down year for corners anyway, and our board seems cloudy at best there. if he can get a waiver to play this year giving him a counter from this class would be a sensible move.

agreed. both will be counted on full ships. worst thing to do is to even mildly **** off the local hs community bc you forced a kid into a pay your way situation. id take wilson if hes down to come to miami. collins will be dropped so thats 18 spots. wilson would be 19. taylor 20. smith 21. that leaves 3 more at best (QB would likely be 1 so thats 2 left).

Yall don't understand how much his family is embedded in with SMU, this would be crazy.

I think it was LCE that said it’s no way his dad would allow it wig him being an SMU alumni. I don’t see how that’s possible

Both his parents are SMU alumni, his dad is a big time booster for them & is in their trustees group, his mom is too I believe.

Pops pulled strings to get his older brother Parker into to SMU despite being an unranked recruit with literally no offers.

I still doubt we get him, but it would be epic if we did.

There are a couple over there that have some juice. Jenkins29 and Gata Beta are two of them i believe. They get asked by their board to confim, especially jenkins29

Oh i get it. At this moment how can one doubt everything. I mean two weeks ago we were in the dumps then Cribby's corner came out and.......BAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM look at what is going on.

Are you the one that lives in Cortez village? I used to keep my boat up there. Miss the boating and fishing up there.

Dude, books are SUPER expensive these days. I agree with you, some classes have moved away from "traditional" hardcover textbooks, but a lot of the football players are in the B-School and business textbooks are not cheap.

But, yes, if it's a COVID-19 online course, that's probably not as big of a deal. I will be happy to see the current trend continue to take hold, so that we can see fewer hardcover texts in the future. Those **** hardcovers, every time they print a "new edition", they destroy the "used textbook" market.

Who needs a "new edition" on an accounting textbook?

I agree. I remember when you were describing the family ties to SMU. I also just read about his wanting to commit to UT and his dad said NO! hahahah. That's great.

However if there is a guy who can pull it off......i think it's Lashlee. SMU and Miami are pretty similar institutions i would have to imagine.
