Latest on Highsmith

If this pans out, let me be the first to tip my hat to Ferman for getting the scoop. Well deserved. I thought it was chum being thrown in the water by the Hecht.

Nothing is set in stone yet.

Smart move by James to bring in someone to be the commander of chief of the football team. Kinda saves his ***

I'm OK with this move:

1. Blake James can hit the donation trail and if all things work out, eventually retire from UM with never having to put his hands in the dirt of football operations.

2. Zo can keep Manny in check and if all things work out, eventually take over for Blake as UMs AD.

Signed,

Peruche

What if Flowe knew the whole time???

Zo tells Mario he’s coming.
Mario says he will come too.

Mario tells a conflicted Flowe that he’s going to replace Manny at UM.
Flowe commits to Oregon to hedge but agrees to transfer with Mario.

Mario alerts Patrick he’s coming and wants him as DC.
Patrick hedges his bet and takes local spot till everything goes down.

Manny has no clue till it’s too late and boom.

Webyke.

Maybe he’s willing to take a pay cut to be living in Miami again. I doubt Miami matches his Cleveland salary

Excited to see what this means for the football team. Someone to help make those tough decisions more expediently

I'd put money down he knows how to run a college football program better than Mangina James does...

If he comes here without complete control he's dumber than Manny is and we're still in the same situation.

I do not believe this to be the case at all.

I honestly don't much about Highsmith's success after his playing days, but if his resume is something we all covet - then call me when he's hired and has full autonomy over the football program.

Not getting my hopes up until he's here and delivering on the field results.
