Can't see Highsmith making any kind of big changes until he gets time to settle in and do a complete assessment of program. Can only do that once inside. Not like he can do that on first day like some people would like.

Maybe not all the way down to recruits but coaches I would think so. I’m sure they will use him as an asset for recruiting, training room etc... and as he has seen how it all works in the NFL

We don't know if it makes us better, we're just hoping he's going to be in a position to oversee all Football activities.

The point is to keep Mangina James & the rest of the laissez-faire flunkies within the administration away from the Football program.

If they move out of the way & let someone who actually cares about & knows Football it could be a step in the right direction to dig ourselves out of the current graveyard we're in.

It’ll actually be the first time we’ve had somebody overqualified to oversee football here. Normally it’s under qualified.
