Kiss of Death for UM coaches when the CIS GMs start posting a certain coach is a "weird dude". Thank goodness for our fellow UM psychiatrist and psychologists.

Restrepo & JGeorge were Rob Likens evals/signings, even Horton was a Likens recruit.

Beard has signed the 24 & 25 class, which most of whom are still at least 1-2 years away from being ready to play.

Now put that in contrast to all the TF/Red FR & Sophomore WR's around the country who are already playing at a high level & you have your answer.

Beard has done well by Miami fan standards, which are always going to be bare minimum & the fact he's a former Cane completely skews people's ability to accurately access the job he's actually done. But in reality, he missed top targets in both his classes back to back & the HC feels like he’s not doing his job up to Championship standards. Hence why he's letting him walk.

One thing that should always be kept in mind, just being "good enough", isn't actually the goal. The goal is GREATNESS. That's how you win Championships.

Beard is a good position coach. We can get better. That much isn't contradictory, and shouldn't be controverisal.

Staff is more important than EVER in CFB. When you have the opportunity to improve, you must take it. No exceptions.

amen..........the only way to get to Elite is to strive for it........no shortcuts, no exceptions.
To improve is a moving target you have to reach for,.... it is not coming to you and dropping in your lap...you have to go for it and take it by upgrading, and in that action show you can get better.

Love last paragraph. Our DL, LB and WR rooms do not have “greatness” in there. Very frustrating.

He has no formal offers at the moment. When he needs offers, he'll have offers.

This is not solely about money.

Mario didn't like Slingblade riding his coattails then, he knows better.

Kevin needs to hurry up with the Cuse leverage and sign a new contract. I am certainly not going into the season with 3 of my 4 top WR's having no playing experience with a $3+ milll. base salary QB who started last season as the Heisman favorite. That would be stupidity. They need to bring in another stud and make the WR rotation bigger, 6 man, getting others the experience they didn't last season.

Feels convenient for me be on Team Beard. Like if Beard leaves, it's easy ammo for him to start criticizing Mario again. These dudes are so predictable.

Caneville also out there saying JoJo, Chance, Toney will all transfer if Beard leaves.

Riiiggghhhht.
