Brooklyn good info. Don't worry about guys like Smack they typical suckas who **** over information then get mad when they have no information. BK is who I think he is a marginal player who gets shook when the hard hits come.

If he comes back Rozier transfers Probably Sherrif also.

They gone

Sheriffs probably comes back for his degree

Shirreffs will only be a RS SOPH next year -- he's staying. Rosier probably won't transfer regardless of what happens with Brad

If any QB is transferring, it will be Shirreffs.

But with the direction this team is heading, I think they should all stay on the train. Really bright future ahead!

Leave it to the mouth breathers on here to nitpick and try to discredit a connected guy who's bringing good information to the board.

Can Rosier play any other positions?

Allison, Weldon, Perry, Vinny Jr. and Sheriffs as backups / scouts / QBs in waiting is refreshing to say the least.

To me, regardless of what the advisory board or a compilation of scouts (avoid agents' opinions, as they are the devil) would tell him, his decision should come down to four things:

1) does he have things he needs on film to mitigate the risk an NFL team has to take by drafting him
2) can he actually work on those things, and get better, while in college
3) can he reduce his own risk of staying (through sufficient insurance or the like)
4) if he improves those things, does he stand to significantly increase his chances of guaranteed money and potential longevity in the NFL?

If he goes through that flow, alone or with a group he trusts, and it comes out to 4 yes answers, you automatically stay.
If he goes through that flow, alone or with a group he trusts, and it stops with a NO before the #4 , you automatically leave.
If he goes through that flow, alone or with a group he trusts, and he's not sure about #4 , use the information shared with you by the advisory board and scouts.

As I've been saying, I think it's a bad decision for him to leave right now. I also think our football team is in better shape with him than without him. I know some disagree on that, but I believe we're setup for a multi-year run if he stays.

"The new ratings are much simpler: potential first round, potential second round, or neither, which is effectively a recommendation to stay in school."

I would be surprised if Kaaya received a grade in the first 2 categories and I think it would be a very odd decision for go to the NFL with his 2 signature wins being WVU and Pitt. He can do better. He has every physical tool, if he can put together a consistent season he will be next year's top QB.

I'm aware of what I said. He checked with numerous people let's just say & the consensus is low fifth round.

Dummies on here act like these kids don't have coaches contacting gm's. He probably got his grade , then I'm sure coaches talked to multiple gm's or scouts to gage their opinion. These kids don't just hear from the advisory on grades.

Thanks for the info, don't listen to the "know it alls"

Agree 100% with Lu's post. However, if we all agree pocket presence and the ability to throw with the rush baring down is his big area of needed improvement (since he's not going to just get more "athletic" over night) how can BK improve that? Curious for answer on the former since the latter really will be proven when he gets hit in the mouth (and that doesn't happen in practice).

So he just got his grade back & he got a grade of low fifth round. He's not the type that will impress at combines either. Not really a physical specimen so he pretty much knows his grade. Knowing Angela I can't see her supporting a decision to leave now & brad is every bit as mama's boy. Considering that & our schedule next year I'd have to guess (emphasize I'm guessing here)that he'll be back. With him here next year & oline tightened up well be in the playoffs period.

they only give grades for 1st and 2nd

I totally agree. I'm also reminded of the drastic improvement Brock Berlin made fro JR to SR years. He looked hopeless at times as a JR. Brock kicked around in the NFL for a while and even started a game for the Rams. Not comparing the two talent wise, but after years of moderate progression as a player, it either clicks for Brad or it doesn't and he has the potential for it to click big time.

Its the downside risk of a crappy showing as a senior versus his current position that he's considering as well IMHO. I could see the scouts saying, "if Richt can't coach him up, I'm not sure what an NFL QB coach could do with him."

Look at Colt McCoy, went from a potential first rounder, came back to win a title and ended up slipping to what, the 4th round?

I agree that Brad needs to come back, but if he comes back and shows the same bad habits from this season, he'll be a late round project pick for someone in 2018. So it comes down to what confidence the kid has in himself. If he truly believes he will improve and improve his draft stock, he's back. If not, he's gone.

That's my 2 cents.

If Kaaya goes pro, does Pete go with him in a Lebron/Windhorst kind of arrangement?

Speaking of Ol' Windy.....did the Feast eat all of the food that he left in South Florida? This ain't healthy.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks he is the answer next year. One additional year isn't going to undo or fix the last three years of lack of pocket presence or increase his speed. His mobility or lack of it is what it is. I agree that if he had had better coaching and was close, it would help him to stay, but he just isn't that close in my opinion. The program will survive without him and it would be in his best draft selection to go in this weak quarterback class.

Even if his footwork/mobility and pocket awareness improved ZERO the o-line will be better next year. That alone will at minimum mask his deficiencies more than they were this year while allowing him to make more of the big highlight reel throws if he has time in the pocket. It'd also afford him the opportunity to add to the "intangible" schtick list that the Mehl's and McGhey's spout off about if he does manage to win some big games and we have a good to great season.

We've seen that when he has time, he can make throws as good as anyone; however, when he is under duress (as was the case many times this season) he can be a wreck.

Yep. Someone said it- When he has time he's as good as anyone. The moment he doesn't - or thinks he doesn't - he's as bad as anyone.

Slight correction. :)
I was watching Trubisky and dude was making some amazing passes under duress and hitting them with accuracy.
I love Kaaya and want him to succeed and all like I do for all Canes, but I have never seen make any of the passes
I saw Trubisky make today, in just one game.

that they lost....to a team missing their only player

3 things will keep Brad from the NFL this year.....or should.
Footwork -- all QBs are built from ground up and he need another year developing footwork
Deep Ball -- GMs love QBs who can rip the deep ball. Brad can not. His deep balls are the worse part of his game bar none
Pocket Presence -- Clean pocket he's great, not clean he's awful. Lots of times in pros you don't get clean pocket

When are they gonna open up the playbook?

Are they waiting to surprise Manny in spring ball?

You're absolutely right. Next year maybe we'll average 70 to appease you. You voted for Trump didn't you...

I feel like that's the worst kept secret on this board

Jokes aside and I'm no fan of the guy's fraudulent UM allegiance but he's gonna be dead within 10 yrs max. I think he has kids too. Get it together in 2017 Feast! My God man!

Also no way believe he got a 5th round grade

Why not? Dak Prescott who has better physical tools and was everything to Miss. State's offense was a 4th round pick. Kaaya benefited from being good as a freshman and the hype that came with it and everyone expected him to grow exponentially. He's a solid college QB.

kiper had him as the 7th best qb in the draft so its not out of the question

Brooklyn, thanks for the info keep it up and keep it moving . Keep doing your thing family !!!

He has a son

You are correct which is why the OP is full of ****. The draft committee only gives those two grades. I know that for a fact. Been following the draft for long enough.

Op is NOT full of ****. He is a very legit poster. He is prolly referencing agents grades. Richt will talk with Brad and shoot him straight as a arrow. Kaaya is coming back ya'll. We gonna do it big next year.

He can be legit all he wants..... Kaaya did not get a low 5th round grade from the advisory board(what actually matters) because that grade doesn't exist.

Hey moron well you pretend you understand what yourelse stating this is where context & comprehension will get you away from minimum wage. Anyone with a brain knows the grades from the advisory committee don't come back for atleast another three weeks & that's for the can't miss juniors that get grades first. Believe it or not there is a bunch of PEOPLE who can ADVISE him of what he grades out as... if you still don't comprehend than I apologize for picking on the mentally challenged.

Thts nit what you said though. In your first post you maddest seem as if he got a legit 5th round grade from the advisory board. You said he got a 5th round grade. Hmmmm....

I'm not sure where you can get that from. There's alot more ways than an advisory committee to grade out to something. ANYONE WHO EVALUATES & MAKES AN ASSESSMENT grades the people evaluated out... don't mean to confuse but to me this is real simple. Clearly I'm hard-headed cause I repeatedly tell myself just keep **** to myself but half the time I still come back & tell yall.
