"The new ratings are much simpler: potential first round, potential second round, or neither, which is effectively a recommendation to stay in school."

I would be surprised if Kaaya received a grade in the first 2 categories and I think it would be a very odd decision for go to the NFL with his 2 signature wins being WVU and Pitt. He can do better. He has every physical tool, if he can put together a consistent season he will be next year's top QB.

I'm aware of what I said. He checked with numerous people let's just say & the consensus is low fifth round.

I was under the assumption that your NFL draft grade was that you're either in the 1st or 2nd round, or nothing at all.

You are correct which is why the OP is full of ****. The draft committee only gives those two grades. I know that for a fact. Been following the draft for long enough.

Op is NOT full of ****. He is a very legit poster. He is prolly referencing agents grades. Richt will talk with Brad and shoot him straight as a arrow. Kaaya is coming back ya'll. We gonna do it big next year.

He can be legit all he wants..... Kaaya did not get a low 5th round grade from the advisory board(what actually matters) because that grade doesn't exist.

Hey moron well you pretend you understand what yourelse stating this is where context & comprehension will get you away from minimum wage. Anyone with a brain knows the grades from the advisory committee don't come back for atleast another three weeks & that's for the can't miss juniors that get grades first. Believe it or not there is a bunch of PEOPLE who can ADVISE him of what he grades out as... if you still don't comprehend than I apologize for picking on the mentally challenged.

I'm sure the draft advisory board isn't the only place Kaaya got opinions from.

OP makes it sound like its from the draft advisory board though.

I'm just curious cause I've been attempting to understand the logic people on here have, but how did I "make it sound like it came from the draft advisory board"? I'm pretty sure all I told yall is he got his grade back & what it was.

Also why else would he be listening to anything else? These kids get their grades from the advisory boards and decide whether to leave based on that and their current situation.

I'm sorry to say it, but I feel you should come to terms with the fact you're a moron. For anyone interested in a lil life lesson what happens when a kid is considering coming out I'll teach you. Depending on his support system advisors(agents/scouts/etc.)will contact either the kid or his people to line up interviews. In said interviews which naturally none of our underclassmen are involved with in the least since it's illegal for both our kids & anyone directly involved with an agent to be in direct contact with each other until leaving is official. Anyways in said interviews ur told your strengths & weaknesses, which teams have interest in you & what rounds they're considering you in if any. It's far more comprehensive than an advisory committee & far more brutal since it's people involved from ground up rather than a group of old men who simply analyze film & compare against others & teams needs. But **** it. You go with that.lmfao. Half yall got no clue the **** that comes out ur mouths. Embarrassing really.

So he just got his grade back & he got a grade of low fifth round. He's not the type that will impress at combines either. Not really a physical specimen so he pretty much knows his grade. Knowing Angela I can't see her supporting a decision to leave now & brad is every bit as mama's boy. Considering that & our schedule next year I'd have to guess (emphasize I'm guessing here)that he'll be back. With him here next year & oline tightened up well be in the playoffs period.

When are they gonna open up the playbook?

Are they waiting to surprise Manny in spring ball?

You're absolutely right. Next year maybe we'll average 70 to appease you. You voted for Trump didn't you...

Defense will give up 13 ppg next year. So that means just need a QB who can hit a couple passes here and there and not turn the ball over. That's Kaaya to a T. Put that with a top run game- Walton, Homer, McFarland and we can score at least 19 points. That gets us to 11-1, worst case 10-2.

I think if Richt learns we have to pass to set up the run, we can be deadly. You havre o think our OL will be better, and Richt will also have a better feel for playcalling. Kaaya with protection is no joke.

That's why I don't get why some of these porsters are making fun of my assessment. Aside from the VT game, we lost the other 3 by a grand total of 10 pts. Unless you think the defense is going to get worse with a more experienced front 7 and better athletes in the secondary (aside from Corn), we should allow fewer points per game. This year we were ranked 12th overall in college football at 19.8 points allowed. Next year we should be top 5, which puts us between 14-16 points allowed. Even if the offense is as putrid next year, giving up 14 per game gets us to 10-2 at least. Kaaya, for all his faults, takes care of the ball well. He is talented enough to make plays when he has time (which speaks to him being considerably better than just your regular caretaker qb). It's a realistic expectation that we make the ACC championship game next year. So that means 10-2 going in.

You make very good points & if we were in the sec it would be far easier to explain the logic in it. It's how most sec teams play out from year to year. Look at Tennessee, floriduh, etc. Defense is what wins over there. Far as we go you make very good points but our defense will have growing pains. Remember were losing our entire starting secondary & replacing them with not much experience or talent unfortunately at several key positions. Luckily we counter that with one of the weekest schedules in all of p5 football.

Thts nit what you said though. In your first post you maddest seem as if he got a legit 5th round grade from the advisory board. You said he got a 5th round grade. Hmmmm....

Him returning would be a great way to start 2017. As evident by the RAB when he's on he's terrific and he's on more often than he's not. We will be a much, much better team with him at the helm next year than without.

Oh and I call BS on anyone reporting a "grade of 5th round" came back on him.

Yep... I like really like Cane Dynasty but voting wisely isn't his strongest point.

Really man... You're gonna pick at a guy who brings us glances of inside info on things? Dee is pretty tied in on this shît and recruiting and he knows Kayaa's mom too. However Dee worded it, he explained what Kayaa is being told as to where he will get drafted and why Dee thinks he'll be back. If that's not good enough for you move on.

Many of these kids don't wait for the advisory board. These coaches have contacts all across the league and get ideas of grades from GMs/Scouts and other coaches. It's not hard. To me, the advisory board only validates what kids already hear with a more formal process for a sense of security.
