If Mario walks into game 1 of next season with Gattis still as his OC the toxicity around this program will be approaching all time high levels .

they added coaches to basically neuter his impact his final year there. those two guys are the OCs now and haven't skipped a beat.

we can't be the program that has cash and we will spend and then not afford a buyout for a coach w reportedly one year left. if you couldn't afford the expensive staff, dont hire them for that money.

If Gattis comes back and the offense is struggling through the first few games it's going to get TOXIC. It will not be a good situation.

And who's gonna be his quarterback? Supposedly Garcia and TVD will both be gone if Gattis comes back.
Good for us, the players have some leverage. Mario isn't dumb..needs to bring in an OC that will use TVD's strengths if he wants TVD to stay.

everyone on the outside saw the quitting of the team in part because of the coaching failure
everyone on the outside saw the dysfunction that Gattis creates

and we saw ONLY the tip of the iceberg, while Mario, Zo, Ed Reed, Charlie Strong, Steele, Jason Taylor, Rad and many others saw the rest of the iceberg every day. and therefore in conclusion there is no way Gattis can come back.

Gattis is easily the most disliked coach by the fanbase in an extremely long time. That's one **** of an accomplishment.

He's up there with NoD, and I think Gattis is actually worse. Not sure how that's even possible, but he absolutely sucks.

Producing the worst Miami offense in the last 50 years after inheriting a top 25 offense and the ACC rookie of the year QB will have that effect.

Yet it is December 10, 2022, the World Cup knockout is nearly done, and Josh ***king Gattis is still Miami’s OC. Oh, did I mention that our QBs are looking for new teams and Mario’s “bump” recruiting class is starting to crack? Al Golden 2.0.

Let alone losing your QB and WR room now and for the foreseeable future..which QB or WR, on the roster or in the future, wants to play for Gattis?

Mario already is fighting against his reputation of "ruining QBs". His partnership with Gattis will only bolster that rhetoric on the recruiting trail.

I don't have any inside information but I'm 100% confident Gattis won't be here next year because he can't be. Mario cares too much about recruiting to have a deadbeat OC making him recruit with 2 hands tied behind his back. He needs to hire an OC/QB coach that will allow him to say "This is my offensive philosophy. This OC/QB coach has proven success for QBs and WRs in high scoring offenses."

The flaw in your logic might be assuming that Mario cares what the fanbase thinks, or that he even believes Gattis did a bad job. He’s been pretty consistent in blaming players and expressing his desire to flip the roster. I’m also not sure if Rad wants to dictate to Mario who to fire and hire one year into his tenure, especially since he didn’t actually hire Mario. If anything, he doesn’t want to **** off the people with the money who were instrumental in getting Mario to Miami.
