I’d expect Gattis to be recruiting because he is still the OC.Because everyone involved, including Gattis, is professional.
According to some genius on another thread, “no one cares who the Miami OC is”.
Just look at how many butts you will see in seats. Then you’ll realize who cares.
Nah, eff that. Fire his *** already.Plus there's this... Apparently we hired a guy that many people "inside" knew wouldn't be a great success here.
Probably much harder to get a job when you have that reputation and then the on field results he had this year.
He's going to have to take a bigger step down than he thought. But it's still better than getting fired.
Exactly. We spent 15 million on buyouts last year and we’re worried about 1 million or a little more After this ****show of a season?we can't be the program that has cash and we will spend and then not afford a buyout for a coach w reportedly one year left. if you couldn't afford the expensive staff, dont hire them for that money.
Underrated post.Gattis and Onofrio are who the owner of the franchise in the movie, Major League, would've hired to achieve their goal were it a football team.
If Gattis comes back and the offense is struggling through the first few games it's going to get TOXIC. It will not be a good situation.
It will be TOXIC way before that. It’s getting near that nowIf Gattis comes back and the offense is struggling through the first few games it's going to get TOXIC. It will not be a good situation.
Let's a guy who should have been fired after the Virginia game continue to coach because apparently firing someone who is incompetent and stealing a check is mean.
Trouble is, he is as bad at getting a new job as he was at calling plays.I’ve heard this but not from people I get info from. Lots of wild theories flying around these days. What I know is “ dramatic changes to the offense and scheme“. “Changes will be made on both sides of the ball, coaches will leave”. Coaches that are currently still out recruiting.
I’ve also been flat out told from multiple people “ there’s no chance Gattis returns”. They’ve never changed that take. Same person said he’s interviewed for other jobs.
Who tf are you???All these schools Oc left for another job they weren’t fired.
I’m a big Mario fan and want him to succeed but anyone not acknowledging that Mario is taking a huge risk by keeping Gattis on until past ESD is fooling themselves. These kids all saw us lose 4 out of the last 6 games in embarrassing fashion. One of those wins was dreadful. There isn’t a single committed recruit tied to him. We also don’t have a lot of traction with any of our remaining offensive skill targets. There’s kids like Dante Moore taking seconds looks and we are nowhere near that conversation, atleast publicly.Lmao recruits aren’t dumb. They see and hear all the **** we see and hear. They watched our offense. You think in any skill talent wants to come to play for this offense? Getting rid of the oc would help you more than hurt
He's been far worse than i could've imagined ( outside recruiting as you said).Besides recruiting, Mario has been a mess here at this point.
Anyone else worried that at some point Ruiz takes his ball and goes home? Since Mario seems to need a stacked roster to accomplish his system. He's been far worse than i could've imagined ( outside recruiting as you said).
This thread is highly entertaining. Gattis is done. Fact. Some of you all looking foolish.
Bet you said that about Manny last year too.If he's gone, why isn't he gone?
