From the rumors on who the replacement could be that you’ve heard, is it more of the same philosophy or a departure to something more modern?

Revisionist history is a mutha ain’t it. They regretted them takes as soon as he was hired as Buffaloes OC, the on the field results just added insult to injury.

Probably because the mopes learned from that situation. Said no to Dorsey and watched him become OC at the highest level. Nice slice of humble pie.

I wouldn’t even lie to you. If I speak decisively it means I trust the info. If not I’ve learned to keep my mouth shut. And thank god for that or I’d been tarred and feathered awhile ago.

I'll question him week 1 if we don't see some drastic and obvious changes.
I mean he had a ton of equity and then threw it all away with how bad the season went and putting our worst and most boring team in 40 years out on the field.

He deserves to be questioned every week from now on until he proves otherwise. He had a chance to dispel all the negative narratives he came in with and instead he just cemented them further.

Bad for QBs
Bad for WRs
Boring offenses
Bad gameday management

It became a weird obsession, even I had to step away for some time or else I would have gone crazy. Can’t lie it was so fun though, I think I have a problem.

Props to you for standing by your info as always, chief.

I stick by my opinion that Mario was already writing up his short list after UVA, and had started thinking about names as early as A&M. I know most of us were discussing it, so why wouldn't Rad and Cristobal? 368 pages of Fire Gattis is a condemnation of fan insecurity, not of Mario's competence.

I think pretty much everyone hates the way it was handled. Gattis killed us in the portal for 2 cycles along with recruiting. I can’t stop wondering just how many 5 star WRs we could have signed if the right moves had been made.

That home run OC will have an uphill battle as soon as he steps on campus.

This was done a long time ago so I doubt Mario has been fingering his butt since late November while OC’s were being hired up. I don’t think he’s the sharpest HC in America but I can’t see that.

Gattis and Tommy Rees were the two candidates that were more pro style

The other candidates were more modern

For whatever it’s worth, if I’m asked to place a bet, it’s Ludwig, or someone with a similar profile and experience

Dont believe I implied anything about how much attention. I read your post as he could do A or B, but not both. I’m sure he’s doing both because I believe he’ll reshuffle the offensive staff. My initial response in this thread was that, while he’s got a couple wins under his belt, I don’t believe he’s got the evidence to be offered blind trust in terms of the coaching selection process.

It’s a combination of both. Mario Offensive competence is what leads us to this point and puts us in a position to have a guy like Gattis

I was talking in the present. The Briles stuff was bs. There was smoke with Candle but I don’t think it got far along.
