Gattis is done....hasn't been on campus since thursday....going to Penn St...
If this is true, I don't see how this is saving face (if that is in fact what the delay is) - he is going to leave being the OC at a major P5 school to become the WR coach at another major P5 school and people are going to think 'yeah, that makes sense'.

Ludwig has been very good in the last couple of years but his curriculum it's not immaculate.

Oregon fans hated him almost as Miami fans hate Gattis now (it was a long time ago though).
Yeah that was 20 years ago. I truly don’t expect him because he’s from Utah but watching him cook up constantly with the level of player they get out there excites me. Plus his style is
Sustainable against all competition

I’ve been saying all year we topped out too early. But I like the Giants matchup more than Min.
You do? Figured you’d want a more pass happy team y’all could punch in the mouth and make them fold like a lawn chair.

The giants I think is a bad matchup for y’all in that they have a strong Dline to counter y’all’s run game allowing more defenders to play off

IMO roster is top need. Followed by adjustments to the staff. You can have whatever staff you want, but if your players are not up to par with Top 10 teams, then welcome to TCU at National Championship game. No thanks. I am a patient person in this age of microwave reactions. Change is coming, soon, at the coaching staff level. Just be patient.
I get what you saying but all that attention just allowed TCU to reload they picked some players in the portal. I expect them to be a top 15 team again

Tierney treats those ‘Bama playbooks and manuals like the Holy Grail. He must model his philosophy on how to run an offense and program with what he learned at ‘Bama.

Sound familiar?
He’s been with Daboll since 2018. I know Daboll was at Bama, but only one season. He spent 16 years in the NFL prior to that.

What makes you think ‘Bama is the key?

Tierney seems like a high risk high reward option.

You’re putting a lot of your hopes on a guy that is in his first year of being an actual position coach at any level. You’d have to be ULTRA confident this is THE guy.

Another bad season next year would really put Mario in a tough spot. Not saying I’m against the hire but holy crap would it really be a ballsy move.
Seems like he needs to go with something more proven like a Dan Mullen or Seth L

It’s 2:30 and even horseface looks good right now, which is the problem of timing. Dont want to wake up during the season only to tell your friends you spooned all night and that’s it….
