@PIPO will be readyI’m merely watching from my TV at this point, but there were a couple instances where he looked out of it. Not engaged, sitting on the bench at times instead of standing with the team, etc. We’ve already been over via the insiders and prominent posters why publicly firing coaches that late in the season (one game left) isn’t a good idea for future offensive candidates.
If I’m wrong, so be it. But the source is pretty **** close to the family. Cribby then circled back to his different sources and we came to the same answer.
As for you, I’ll say this: you better **** well hope Gattis stays at this point, or I’ll be coming for your neck. Your schtick is so beta, it’s embarrassing at this point.
Can’t wait. If I’m wrong and something changed, I’m wrong and I’ll wear it on the chin like a man. But if I and the insiders are right, oh baby…it’ll be biblical on here.
Again no one disagrees Gattis should go. said they 10x already. But there are reasons Mario may prefer to wait vs firing him the day after the season or early NSD. That's all im saying. You dont have to like or agree with the reasons but let's not act like any of you can read Mario's mind or know everything that goes one behind closed doors. Even our best insiders only know a small glimpse. Guess that's too hard to understand. It really IS that simple. You keep Gattis ... you lose more ticket sales, parking and concession revenue than his $1.8 million dollar salary for 2023 and you lose the ability to RECRUIT WR's for that offense you want to run. Gattis simply wanted OUT of Michigan ... bruised ego ... when he didn't even make the list of potential candidates to replace Harbaugh (if) he took the the Vikings job ... it was over. He even tweeted his players "would you stay in a place where you were not wanted?". He grabbed the UM job just to spite Harbaugh and the Michigan administration. The "next" OC sees the opportunity ... sees what Mario wants to build ... and he has his own recruiting relationships as well as staff. Biggest issue is ... Mario ... will he do what is needed or will he continue to strangle the offensive potential with an inept OC at the helm?
No one is saying wait months for gattis to get another job. But if gattis has 1 lined up and Mario has an OC lined up, waiting another 2 weeks for bowls to end makes little difference at this point. Obviously if Mario has no OC lined up and plans to keep Gattis, then he already dug his grave with the fanbase and croots next year if the offense doesn't crush itAnd what if he doesn’t get another job? What if that takes another month, two months? The longer this takes the further behind it puts us for planning for the next season and allows negativity about the offense to continue to fester. We already struggled with wr and qb recruiting in this class and it’s going to start having an impact on the 2024 class as well.
This is bs, if the players cant grasp it the coach isn’t a good enough teacherLudwig would be great, but I would be concerned because I'm not sure that our players could grasp his offense.
hate to break it to you, but were near 2023 and there isnt anything indicating a change is coming. they featured gattis on the promos, theyre telling mike Ryan they wanted to kickstart the offseason program, gattis was recruiting and dining w recruits pre ESD. ill believe it when I see itI’m merely watching from my TV at this point, but there were a couple instances where he looked out of it. I know gattis didnt do **** to recruit them. mike Ryan broke the Mario news. he may not know everything but he def has some sources within the program that are reliable. there is zero benefit in keeping gattis even this long esp if you are trying to get a head start into next year. You mean the two local WR commits, one of which that was a legacy, that basically said in an interview that I’m committing to
The school #1 and Mario #2….. everything else will change
Because Mario is gonna talk to Mike Ryan
Cmon bro…. You’re better and smarter than this
We scored 3 points on them and Oklahoma is going up and down the field on them. Tells you how bad our oc is . If mario keeps him he’s pathetic too
Why do we think Ludwig would even think about it? He's a Utah guy. Been out West his entire career except for 5 years at Vanderbilt and Wisconsin and has been an OC for 25 years.Ludwig would be a good hire, certainly not the drastic philosophical change that many of us want but I think his feel for the game and play-calling alone would be a MASSIVE upgrade from what we had last year.
I love how he uses TEs and Utah RBs are clearly well-coached.
No I’m not taking a ban if he’s fired or leaves. I hope he does. I just don’t think he will
I didn’t say that. Why do we think Ludwig would even think about it? He's a Utah guy. Been out West his entire career except for 5 years at Vanderbilt and Wisconsin and has been an OC for 25 years.
That statement is complete nonsense. This is bs, if the players cant grasp it the coach isn’t a good enough teacher
It's really not and applies to plenty of other areas in life outside of football. That statement is complete nonsense.

Absolute garbage take! As an actual teacher (social studies) I can tell you without a doubt some students grasp concepts a lot better than others. The difference with my higher level kids is more students in the same class get the meaty parts of the material. By your blanket statement you’re not factoring in the effort of the students (players)This is bs, if the players cant grasp it the coach isn’t a good enough teacher
If you have a few students missing the mark for grades/test scores then you can absolutely point to the students not being academically inclined, but when an entire class is missing the mark then you start to look at the teacher. This is how teachers are rated in the education system, especially with standardized test scores.No.
People can be stupid and not get something. That is perfectly normal.
If teachers were the end all and be all of grades, theoretically speaking, every college student should be perfectly capable of getting A+ grades with the exact same teacher. That does not happen.
I am not saying they wont figure it out because they are stupid. If you have a few students missing the mark for grades/test scores then you can absolutely point to the students not being academically inclined, but when an entire class is missing the mark then you start to look at the teacher. It goes the same in the business world. if you're the manager of a sales dept and a couple of employees routinely miss their target/goals then those employees will be put on a performance improvement plan or be removed. But if the entire sales department routinely misses the mark for the week/month/quarter/year etc then guess who upper management will replace? The director of sales. This isn't difficult to figure out
Yours is lol, coaches get paid to teach if you cant get players to learn and understand your offense then you’re not a good coach. You never hear about players having trouble picking up the playbook with the elite coaches or coordinators. That statement is complete nonsense.
So my statement is blanket but what I responded to wasn’t? I can tell u ain’t a good teacher eitherAbsolute garbage take!
