Does everyone think that gattis would be the only change to the staff?
I've had the unmitigated joy of the offenses of my two football teams this season being led by Matt Gattis and Josh Canada.
They're essentially the same on a rudimentary level, imo. When they're not being too conservative on 1st and 2nd down and/or overcommitting to trying to establish the run (major problems in their own right), they do call plays that would've worked for big chunks of yards if not for player error (often QB or WR).
It's then on 3rd down where they establish themselves as bums that can't adapt to failure with incessant draws or passes short of the chains. Inexcusable.
Sooooo....they're not morons. The can* draw up plays that can work with proper execution but they're definitely incomplete coaches....and I now think both will back next season too.
So why are people only freaking out about gattis staying? No one else has been publicly let go yetNo. Multiple changes on the offensive staff

Thank you for trying, but they won't listen.No. Multiple changes on the offensive staff
just couldnt convert a 3rd and 1No. The pass protection was excellent.
Still here?
Yes but wasn’t the talk over the summer that he would be a one and done? What happened to him being a hc in 2023 lolNO SIR. That is when the **** hit the fan. Harbaugh left to interview with the Vikings (he thought it was just a detail), and Michigan thought he was gone ... taking the Vikings job. The Michigan administration put together their list ON THAT DATE of who they felt were viable candidates ... and Gattis was not on the list. The list leaked to the staff and Gattis was ****ed. He even tweeted his players "would you remain in a place where you were not wanted". The "relationship" was fractured. Then Harbaugh found out his interview with the Vikings WAS IN FACT an interview. The job wasn't his to take or leave ... and he didn't do well in the interview and returned to Michigan ... where the damage had been done regarding Gattis.
I think or hope it’s higher ups not letting him pull the trigger over buyout. To keep him on staff for esd was a head scratcherGattis is gone, I refuse to believe Mario is dumb enough to bring him back. If he does, we'll know for sure that Mario won't ever do anything meaningful here.
Leavitt is a good coach though. Gattis is Doritos caliber coach and coordinator. Gattis hurts us with offensive recruits and transfers imoAfter last year's wait its a little surprising so many are expecting him to make a move soon.
Its not like he doesn't have a history of taking forever. He knew he was going to fire Jim Leavitt but still kept him around for a week after NSD. This could drag out into mid February.
Soon to be transitioning to NFL playoffsI see some have reached the “Our new OC hasn’t been named yet because he’s currently in the playoff” portion of our program.
Yikes.
When Mario hires Andy Reid as OC there will be a lot of people eating crow in hereSoon to be transitioning to NFL playoffs
I share your exact pain. It's a terrible way to spend a weekend, watching both your teams approach scoring points as a blackjack dealer would - best they can do is 21, but will stop at 17I've had the unmitigated joy of the offenses of my two football teams this season being led by Matt Gattis and Josh Canada.
