Saying the OL might not be better next year is just absurd. Adding Cohen, Samson, FM, a healthy Zion, etc - even the mopiest mope shouldn't doubt OL play will be much improved.

We all want Gattis fired, but this thread is a disaster with people complaining about Mario not improving the roster/recruiting well enough.

Relying on Zion and freshman…completely reasonable vs absurd

You’re smoking that **** if you think the OL improves significantly with freshmen. That’s going to take time.

Its not absurd. While Samson and Mags are very likely big upgrades over EVERYONE in OL room, they are true freshman.

We need 4 more Cohens and that isnt going to happen.

Expect some improvement but not miracles.

We had games last year where this was our OL:

Campbell
Rivers
Denis
Seymore
Cooper

But somehow we might not be better with this?

Zion/Samson
Rivers
Clark/Transfer
FM
Cohen

Yeah ok. Gattis sucks, he needs to go. But a bunch of you are so set on being miserable about everything that it just destroys every thread. Gattis needs to be fired because, with a couple portal WR, the talent is there for a competent OC to put up numbers

The guys we had play last year like Clark, Rivers, Cooper, etc could also show improvement. It doesn’t have to be the extreme of 4 guys from the portal or 2 true freshmen to come in and be relied upon.

Gattis sucks

Our QBs regressed

We failed to adequately recruit WRs up to this point and the ones we have are Colby Young, et al.

Our RB room is Parrish + Unproven/Unhealthy

You’re relying on Freshmen OL and a massive question mark in Zion to the point where I’m not clear he’s even going to be on the roster.

We could not score last year.

That’s not being negative. That’s just outlining where we sit on Boxing Day 2022.
