Jakai Clark ain't a slouch. Shouldn't have been playing football in 2019, but he's got a tool box. Low key, one of the guys on the roster that might be working with something if Justice is the man. He struggled, but he didn't look like someone that had no business being there anymore than any other freshman OL that plays that many snaps.

Loser mentalities come from being losers. I agree that some kids are bad apples, but losing creates that mentality too. Don’t underestimate what this coaching staff and our horrid offense did to these kids.

Take him and hope you can get a waiver due to covid, I’m sure the coaches know what the real issue is why he is leaving UF and if he is truly having mental health issues.

Some stuff going around about Telly Lockette being here now after he was his primary recruiter at FSU and how that is a potential problem that wouldn’t allow him to come here. Idk the extent of the rule, I feel like with Lockette being fired from FSU and getting here months before Walker entered his name in the portal then that isn’t the usual circumstance but what do I know. That would be quite the blow if THAT is the reason we can’t get the kid but it’s probably some bs anyway. I know there’s a rule about a school not being able to hire a HS coach to a staff unless it’s an on the field position to prevent that type of stuff but like I said above this isn’t an ordinary circumstance. Plus you have the Covid situation which could allow the kid to play immediately honestly.

I can agree w this, actually. We also can’t be considered 2nd chance U.
 
So many mixed feelings about this.

On one hand, we need a serious infusion of OL talent, and we need really good prospects to anchor our OL, BUT on the other hand, we can’t continue to be the side chick, where kids can flirt w us, diss us, and when the hot chick don’t fulfill her promise, wanna come back. This is y these lil jits have made the comment “Miami is Miami, they’ll always be there.”

We shouldn’t be in this predicament to have this contemplation in the 1st place! Smh

That’s a bunch of bull. A college coach can go to another college and recruit somebody they recruited from another school. It doesn’t matter if it’s an off the field role or on the field.

We've simply started spewing that nonsense to anyone who will listen so that when the big time kids go elsewhere we can say they didn't fit opposed to when we get all the middle of the pack o lineman etc the fans will say were Killin it rather than whatinthee****fidwejusttakethatkidfor...

Everything just said about telly being here and that would keep us from being able to get anyone is lunacy. Not one single rule ever in place that states even a loose version of that. The kid can go anywhere he wants. Period.
