Issiah Walker in transfer portal

I meant to say he wasn’t good last year obviously. I know it’s going to take time for him and that’s why a redshirt year this year would be big for him if they could afford to.
He may not be good, but that remains to be seen. I’m pretty sure Enos and Barry would have made Bryant McKinnie look like a revolving door. Time shall tell. I think a redshirt would do him just as much good from a mental standpoint to get his confidence back as it would to get his strength up and technique improved.

We have chastised Diaz for not changing the culture he promised to address. After a failed 1st and his realization that he has to really turn things around. Do you really believe Diaz is just going to drop all the other personnel options he was considering just to bring in a kid who choose another school and now supposedly (for whatever reason) wants back in? I am sure our staff has been in contact with Moise and Williams and were considering what to do before this news hit. As much as I wanted Walker, we have to give the staff the opportunity to vet the situation. If it’s is decided that they don’t take Walker, we will have to assume that they either feel good about the other options, or there is some underlined issues that make them feel taking Walker isn’t worth it. We will see.

Sadly I’m on board with this man if you want to change the culture I’d wait til we find out more about this kid. Tired of seeing quitter mentality on this team. Kind of crazy what just a few bad apples do to a team ie. jarren/Jeff/Garvin

I may not know why he left but I know dam well homesickness and family ain’t the reason... I’m 100 on that... thats the political answer when politicians or CEOS say they are going to spend more time with their families
Oh...checks didn’t clear?

I’ll pass on him if he has a bad attitude and behavior detrimental to the team. After last season it’s clear we don’t have player leadership right now.

He may well have a legitimate reason to transfer, but my alarms are going off after last years recruitment drama, alleged parents involvement, and leaving a program after a few months that is basically closed due to the pandemic. I’ll wait for accurate information before deciding if he’s a take.

Wow that has to be a record for fastest portal jump after signing....I guess our coaches should investigate this. Not in a position to turn down good players on the OL.

Man, Manny took Jeff back after quitting AND Cleveland. The heck he’s gonna tell the kid?

“A Miami offer means something! You’re only allowed to quit AFTER you make my crooting class look good on paper!”
Might as well take this kid if you let those two come back lol. If Manny wanted to change the culture this year he would have told Cleveland to **** off.

He didn't become a ****ty prospect in four months of not playing football. Go back and watch this man's feet and him working over some schmucks in one on ones and come back to this thread.

As for me...
