Issiah Walker in transfer portal

I really don't understand the hate for Zion. But having another blue chip tackle can never be a bad thing imo. A lot of people said he was the goods when we were recruiting him. Only thing that changed is he realized uf sucks.
Are you blind or did you happen to miss every game last season?

Get Williams in for 2020, bring Walker and Moise in the fall for 2021. The last thing we need is true freshmen on the O line. Am I missing something?
If he's bailing the **** show because of redshirting. You're not missing a thing. I thought the theory was oline should red shirt for optimal development.

If Manny is butthurt over a kid not signing with Miami after a 6-7 season with losses to FIU and La Tech, he’s a bigger bytch than I thought. Swallow your pride and improve your team.. Every kid isn’t “bashing” Miami because they don’t want to play for a program that looked atrocious most of last year. Get this kid here

A very rare 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 out of 5 on the scorching hot take meter.

Alderman on UF 247 board just posted this:

Walker says this was a family decision.

He’s had a bit of a tough time with things when he got to campus

Could you imagine getting to that she hole town and then seeing ugly brown brick buildings everywhere. I spent 3 hours in Gainesville and wanted to hang myself.

So the kid didn't have baggage in December when we were pursuing him in the early signing period? The kid developed baggage in the last 5 months, 2 of which were spent in lockdown? Being homesick isn't an "off-the-field issue" that should cause anyone hesitation

I call BS on him not being a take, and if you've been around long enough, you know this is Ferman's M.O.

Anyone opposed to signing this kid obviously didnt watch our tackles look like turnstiles last season.
If you want to gleefully take in the girl who's been getting piped down by everyone but you, after stringing you along for years, go for it. I'm not that hard up. I'd rather turn the page and find someone else. Their loss, not mine.

Think I missed your comments. Are we looking good here or not?

All I said was something seems to soured between them and UF. Not sure what happened. I felt like we had a zero percent chance before so I’d have to say they’ve improved lol.

He would have to know that. I can see an 18 yr old leaving home for the first time and after spending a month and a half in Gainesville, getting homesick because he had to go home because of Covid. This is a case where Occam's razor explains it all. I can't really see leaving because they want to redshirt you knowing that redshirting is both common and beneficial for linemen just to transfer somewhere else where you'll have to sit out anyway.

Everyone but you? If you want to miss out on getting some from the girl you’ve always wanted, bc she had a boyfriend before, that’s on you. I’m happy you and your wife saved yourself for each other, but the real world isn’t always like that.

This kid wasn’t Bogle. He handled his recruitment decently well. Its a talented kid at a position of dire need. If we land him it should be considered a gift.

Im starting to think the adults poisoned all this. Good chance the kid wanted to be here all along...

I’m sure everybody was in his ear after they beat us and we tanked, but it seemed like he was all Gator from that night on without anyone’s help. Everyone makes mistakes though. I’m sure UiF sounded great until he actually had to live there. Mullen and Co can't stop the reality from hitting.

I get the "classy angle" but at the end of the day, he's the exact same as Bogle. Staying home wasn't a priority. He willingly made his choice (he chose wrong) like so many SoFla kids do. Are we just going to keep letting them back in with no shame?
