The problem with your comparison is that the SEC still has 2 teams in the playoffs whereas the two "best" ACC teams lost to teams that didn't even win their conference by 4TDs and 2 TDs.
Brother if you fall for the media ploys that's on you. The big 10 RIGHT NOW Is the best conference in football top to bottom and has been for several years. Also I'm certainly not of the belief that the two best teams in the ACC made it to the playoffs. **** happens though so that's what we got. Only people who actually believed smu is so great is our own fanbase. Not for one second was I impressed by them.

Best positioned ACC team? Would that be like being the tallest munchkin in the Wizard of Oz?

We all wear orange and green glasses, but to think the Canes would make a run in the playoffs with the 2024 defense on the field is just not realistic IMO.

Maybe not, but we **** sure would’ve put some points on the board, which is more than you can say about three of teams that just played.

Unless Ruiz wants to bankroll Miami Football for years to the tune of 25M a year , there will be no way to keep up w the usual suspects

TT got their billionaire funding their amazing portal performance…..sec and b10 gonna only get stronger and with espn sucking them off non stop you can kiss auto bids to conf champs goodbye as soon as they can.

Fowler is on his knees sucking herbie and the bucknuts right now as I watch OSU assault tenn

On another note
Still not sure how the **** OSU was awarded a home game
How is Ruiz going to fund anything going forward as Life Wallet is virtually worthless? Company has done two reverse splits and is only worth $1.79/share as of Friday. Guy is a total scammer

What media ploy? Clemson, who won the ACC this year, has been handled pretty easily by UGA, Texas, and South Carolina.

The B1G is being dominated by a team that wasn't even in their conference last year.

SMU got destroyed by probably the 3rd best team in the B1G.

Notre Dame walked through the ACC games they played.

I'm not sure which conference is 1st/2nd (I'd say UGA, Oregon, OSU are the top 3 teams) but I know the ACC is a distant third, as a whole.

If we hadn't collapsed against Syracuse, we would have had a decent seed. Yes, if if's were horses we'd all be knee deep in ****e, but still. The ACC did better than expected to get two in. Not getting the bye hurts, but the B12 and the MWC will be one and dones too, so it isn't as bad as it looked today. We always knew the conference wasn't all that, and we were the best (e.g., most talented) team in it regardless of the two losses. Without us, the ACC looked like the B1G. No idea if that matters going forward or not.

Bleiheck will bring attention to ACC. I think Fran Brown has Cuse on the right track.
L-ville will be solid. Im not sold on SMU. It seems Dabo's best days are behind him,
but we need FSU to get a real coach. The middle of our conference is fine.
SEC is super overrated. UGA had refs save them from being 5 loss team.
I wish ACC was able to get ND on board in past.

you guys cherry pick stuff though. ACC teams beat up some SEC teams too. Let's be real. WWE refs had to save UGA from GA Tech.
We beat up UF, L-ville murdered a UK team that has given all the SEC trouble.

For the ACC to be such a crap league, we sure as **** do our part to furnish this idea.

The irony of it all is back in 2004 when we were invited, it was assumed we would bring notoriety, & prestige to the league, creating TV ratings that would rival OU v. Texas, UGA v. Bama, OSU v. UofM, & SC v. UCLA. We were supposed to be a two-for w/ FSU, once in the reg. season, & once in the ACCCG.

The ACC actually did right by us, putting us in arguably the weakest division in all of the P5 conferences, & somehow we’ve found a way to **** on ourselves since 2004:

-2004: Ranked #4 in the nation & lose back to back games to 6-6 UNC & 6-5 Clemson. Even with those loses, all we had to do was win out since we held the tie breaker over FSU, & at home we lost 16-10 to VT. (I was there).

-2005: OK, we start off the schedule funky w/ an opening season lost to FSU. No worries, we smoke our schedule, including beating #3 VT at their house. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS WIN OUT, & we lose to 7-5 GT. Once again, failure.

-2008: Brutal schedule, but the ACC Coastal was cannibalizing itself. Despite our overall record, we controlled our own destiny to steal an ACCCG bid, but nope, once again we lose to GT, in Paul Johnson’s 1st yr, & then w/ the chef’s kiss, lose to a 6-7 NCSt. the following week.

-2024: All we had to do was…

So I’m not really interested after 20 yrs of our own incompetence constantly blaming the ACC for everything. We’ve done our part in disgracing this conference. We were the hottest brand & had the world in our palms, including this suck *** conference. Also, our suck *** previous AD & current AD agreed to arguably the worst media contract in the history of sports.

So my ? is this; if for 20 yrs we couldn’t win this bytch, & only played in its title game one time, what’s going to happen if we moved to the B1G?

We'll be lucky to win 8 games in the BIG10 on a yearly basis. The ACC doesn't give 2 chits about football, whereas the BIG10 eats, sleeps and breathes football. Add in the adverse weather we'll be forced to deal with 1 or 2 games a year, and we'll be middle of the pack. Amazing how some people think we'll battle for the CFP in the BIG10 when we can't do that in the ACC lol

Blow all the conferences up-

I think eventually this will happen-

It’s the new age of college football-

Portal transfers, NIL etc-

It’s professional football-

Let the big dogs run it with their own rules-

Get rid of the NCAA-Let’s face that’s dead.

So you’re saying the Acc and Miami are a perfect marriage ? Mediocrity unites us.

You know very well what the future holds for the ACC and B12. Starts with elite players. Texas and Ohio State had the two best rosters on the playing fields yesterday and that is only going to continue to get more defined each cycle.

This recruiting cycle there were 35 five star recruits .... 27 committed to SEC programs and 8 to B10 programs .... ZERO to the ACC / B12 schools. It is only going to get worse as the P2 get more CFP slots and continue to increasingly dominate national broadcast time ... and media $$$. Miami NEEDS to move to the B10 or die with the ACC.
