Is the ACC finished?

Look at the ACC teams in the postseason-

Every team has lost so far I think-

We lose and UNC lose to UCONN-

I would say it’s the ACC is basically in the cellar-

Maybe the worst conference in the nation.

all these bowl teams have opt outs. If we everyone cares about $$$ so much then the bowls will figure out how to keep the top players playing.

It’s sad to see what use to be a great post season be ruined by opt outs and transfers.

*They need to change it where a player cannot enter the transfer portal until after the completion of their teams season (post season included) and thereafter you have 10 days to enter the portal.

Hopefully NIL figures out a way to keep more top players in the game. At this point a NIT wouldn’t be a bad thing for like the next 4 teams or something. Not quite the size of the regular playoffs but enough to keep more high end players on those interested in performing for their teams/programs

But, but, but … Cuse is up 35-28 on Wazzu’s JV

it is important that this result holds. Not just so we can advance to 1-6 in bowl games, but also so the rest of the conference can lock in a loss to a ranked opponent in the lookback at strength of schedule.

UCONN is pummeling UNC!

Huskies went for it on fourth down. They are up 24 -7 with less than two minutes left in the second quarter.

Bowl season is pointless now, outside of the playoffs.

Almost every other team just wants their season to end

Agreed, they need to figure something out. Maybe each bowl awards specific prizes based on the tier of the bowl/affiliation but those awards are only for the winning team. That would also make each bowl unique as well.

At least that’ll drive more competition for players to want to WIN rather than just get the bowl game over with. Not to mention for the higher tier bowl games more top players may want to stay in for the sake of their teammates.

GT lost many of their best players to the portal
UNC has many of their best players out for the NFL
SMU wasn’t great
Clemson wasn’t great
Syracuse won
Cal lost QB to portal

I think the ACC sucks but I also think having the portal open before bowl games doesn’t work for anyone. The league is done soon enough. Then we have a big 2 cfp with 3-4 others from none B2 and ND if it isn’t forced to join B2
