Is everyone off of Morris' jock yet?

judging morris' "greatness" on that last drive would be like saying freeman is a great qb for the drive against fsu in 2007. he's proven to be inconsistent at best. the cries for "give him time" and "work in progress" are crap. he's been at miami for 3 years already and different coordinators don't affect his ability to throw accurately or put touch on the ball. he may be the best we have right now, but just because he isn't harris (who was a better qb) doesn't mean he's our savior.

i posted this a couple hours after the georgia tech game. everyone on that thread who said a single thing bad about morris caught sh*t. look back on the thread and read how not a **** thing has changed between then and now. being a serious fan and being a blind homer are far different things.

If Morris was a good QB we would have won this game 49-12. He was the reason it was close in the 4th

Like I've said, he will lead us further than any QB since Brock and he'll be an NFL player.

player as in starter? given our recent history, it's not much of an accomplishment to lead us any farther than we've been since berlin. unc will probably end up staying at the top of the division but we get a freebie if we win out because of their postseason ban.

O

***** - BOLD DON'T MEAN NOTHING AND YOU AIN'T RITE ABOUT THE NFL

Seriously, NFL QBs don't go for 45% against ****** defenses in college.

Morris sucks. He's got happy feet and bolts on the count of 2. Then has to try to hit a receiver while running for his life.

"But Morris has a gun."

Yeah, well, I've fired weapons with the barrel shot out, and they are shooting all over the place.

D, I respectfully disagree on Morris. He won't be playing on Sundays. I'll bet you our freshmen could hit the short and medium passes with a much higher percentage of completion. Morris is not only a drive killer, he's a drive non-starter.

Yeah, I saw him hit Dorsett to win the NC State game. You throw enough misses, sometimes you get a hit. But that's not good enough. We need a bit of consistency. Something Morris has proven he is incapable of.

the problem is we pass the ball to much if we can get some rb dump offs some hb dives or toss's on first down instead of throwing the ball deep everytime maybe we can get something going but when we throw it deep on first down incomplete do the same on second then were in a hole. also morris should hit the underneath routes and slant routes on first and second down instead of goin deep everytime. need to take some time off the clock to get the defense some rest. they should be getting pretty well conditioned by now lol

Morris was garbage tonight. Won despite him. Whatever his deal is, he better find a solution or else Olsen will be running the show as a True Freshman.

Morris just reminds you of that pitcher in baseball who can throw 95 miles per hour, but has no movement on his ball and can't throw breaking stuff for strikes.

He has a great arm, but not necessarily what they call 'arm talent'

but he's by far the best UM has, right now

I said this in the WEZ- Morris looks like a guy who falls further behind the speed of the game the more he experiences. His mind is having serious issues processing all of the stimuli in rapid succession. He's regressing at an alarming clip.

When your OC can coach up a broken-down Jacory Harris, but can't coach up a fully functional physical specimen who keeps making the same mistakes, it's a talent issue. Morris isn't that good.
Good post +rep if i could

Morris is missing that intangible "feel" for the game.

He panics out there. How do you throw a fade route into the second row?
