Why do several of you think that the general public will be on our side in this? Most people thought we were a bunch of thug cheaters before this, so I am not really sure why they would be on our side in this.

Public will laugh at us, but lot's of media types will see how out of line the NCAA is on this.

Hopefully the general public sees that basic rights are being violated

Oh, don't get it twisted my friend...the NCAA has corroborated evidence against Miami in regards to some of Shapiro's claims. There has been more than one canary that has sung because of a vendetta against the University or because they were ignorant and bought the tactics the NCAA was selling. This is just another tactic the NCAA is using to try and get more players to sit with them, because many have told them to **** off, didn't return phone calls, etc. So, consider this one more tactic to corroborate claims.

You're probably right, but last time I checked, extortion is illegal. This is clearly extortion and NCAA would never get away with it in a court of law.
