IMO if we go 13-0, Cam throws for 4500 40 TD’s 10 INT’s. He wins the Heisman. I don’t care if Jeanty breaks the rushing records, he’s doing it in the mountain west… It’s mostly always going to go to a QB if there’s a guy worthy of it on a good team.

This is Jeanty's remaining schedule and their rushing yards allowed per game.

UNLV - 99
SDSU - 167
Nevada - 146
San Jose State - 166
Wyomning - 177
Oregon State - 197

This is who he's played and what they allow.
Hawaii - 139
Jeanty - 236
Hawaii's average against everyone else - 123
Jeanty = +113 yards above average allowed

Utah St - 232
Jeanty - 186 (on 13 carries)
USU adjusted - 241
Jeanty = -55 yards (in a game he averaged 14 ypc)

Washington St - 166
Jeanty - 259
Washington adjusted - 148
Jeanty = +111

Oregon - 108
Jeanty - 192
Oregon adjusted - 91
Jeanty = +101

Jeanty's schedule isn't going to slow him down and it gets easier in each of the final 3 weeks.

If he breaks or gets anywhere close to either of Barry Sanders records, he SHOULD win the Heisman regardless of schedule strength.
Does the fact that he is going to play more games than Barry come into play if you are thinking like that. Barry did it in 11 games(regular season)

Thing is, even though it would take him an extra game to do it, at his current pace he will do it on 80 fewer carries than Sanders.

Jeanty's 9.9 ypc is currently the best average of all time for a RB with at least 100 carries.

I think Sanders had the best Heisman season any player has ever or will ever have. His yards per game will probably never be broken.

RBs have been trying to break it for 36 years. That includes first round picks and a hall of famers. Some have played easy schedules. Some of played in run heavy offenses. But none of them have gotten close.

Jeanty breaks it or even hits 2500, he deserves it.

Barry sanders also had like 44 tds that year ( included his bowl game to make it 12 games). .Jeanty is on pace to have like 8 less tds than Barry

Barry Sanders also played some real teams.

Cam needs to explode the stat book also. People are talking about strength of schedule for Jeanty, well our opponents so far are 16-19 and we beat two of them on late game controversial calls, with nobody ranked on the docket as of today. Our schedule is very very bad, and our conference wins so far against a combined 1-4 acc record is not impressive.

Just like how Jeanty is putting up monster stats but needs to worry about Cam running the table, It can be the same situation with Cam and Gabriel. Cam will out stat Gabriel this year almost certainly, but if Oregon is 12-0 heading into the post season there will be people looking to crown him because miami plays nobody.

What Jeanty has going for him is:

vs Oregon
Jeanty
- 25-192 - 7.7 ypc - 3TD's
Judkins + Henderson - 21-110 - 5.2 ypc - 1 TD

Jeanty far outperformed the best RB duo in college football against a top ranked team.

Jeanty ran for 96 yds & 2 TD's vs Oregon in just the 4th Quarter in a game that was just as close as Ohio St.

I think Ward is the slight favorite, but it's really close.

Just depends on if Miami goes undefeated. This guy can run for 5k and it wouldn't matter (slightly exaggerating). High profile players on high profile teams matter more than just stats.

Well through the first 6 games he’s at 2,219 yards… 20 TDs and 5 Ints. 69% completions.

So there’s at least a chance… he can’t fall off though.
I don’t think he needs to match what Burrow did. Burrow’s 2019 season was the stuff of legend.

Probably a better comp that he would need to mirror is guys like Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and Bryce Young.

Let’s not pretend like Oregon has some crazy hard schedule either. Besides Ohio State, their schedule kinda sucks too.
