Haynes King announced as captain vs Miami

As someone who gets cortisone shots in both shoulders every three months, it isn't quite the painkiller that you think it is. Unless they held off on giving him injections until this week, you aren't supposed to get an injection more than once every 3 months. Maybe their team doctor does it anyways- it still takes 2-3 days to kick in, and sometimes it doesn't kick in at all. In the meantime it hurts worse than before the injection.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they held off until this week to do it, especially using bye week as extra rest

Is the needle for that shot as bad as ppl make it seem?

Yes and no. They use some kind of freezing spray on the top to numb you when the needle goes in. So don't feel the needle going into the skin all that much. The doctor uses an ultrasound machine to guide the needle into the space between the joint. Can't numb it there. So when the medicine is filling up the AC joint, it may hurt a bit (you can see a bump of fluid rising up on the ultrasound and sometimes feel it). And if the doctor's aim isn't great on the first attempt and he has to move the needle around to find the inflammation spot or bumps something that he shouldn't, that definitely stings. Overall though it's not so bad that I say, "I never want to do that again." But I've had it so many times now and now what to expect that I'm probably used to it. Getting a epidural cortisone injection into the lower spine, on the other hand, is not something I want to do ever again.

I think we should just give the other team 5 points every possession and then take the ball

Split it between a field goal and a TD and have a race to the finish
That's pretty close tbh. 🤣 5 is a little high. But basically just give em 5 every time we get stopped so we don't have to see the defense. I dig it. We got stopped 6 times each vs Cal (38 pts) and VT(34). 3 times vs Florida(17), 2 for FAMU(9), 1 Ball St.(0) 2 for USF(15). Pretty **** close. Inflated at Cal bc one stop was a pick 6. That's not bad math you muscle bound tight necked genius dummy.

I was willing to go for this but then I thought of the disrespect for Reuben Bain

As much as I don't wanna see the defense I can feel it in big hairy nuts that Reuben Bain is gonna make us remember the monster he is from here on out

This is good. I feel like there’s room for little tweaks like the overtime rules where they get a real possession depending on the score

Also PFF would LOVE our secondary

Way to move the goalposts....first it's about supposedly not beating them by 3 TDs, then suddenly it’s about them having the lead before we blew them out
That game shouldn’t have been that close. We aren’t destroying anyone like the discussion has been about. Miami did what it had to do, nothing more or less. We barely covered the spread.

But go ahead and pound that chest struggling with Duke most of the game…

Borreagles is a **** of a kicker. I'm sure he can onside kick it well. Just onside kick it after each score. All we need is for it to work once or twice a game, and we'll be able to have a 1 to 2 TD cushion all game. Defense will probably allow them to score anyways, so might as well try to get more possessions in there somewhere.

It's not about "pounding that chest". Point is you made a false claim then when it was pointed you changed to a different claim.

Plus, your complaint about FSU is ridiculous. We dominated that game and controlled it from the beginning. They sold out to limit Cam, so we crushed them on the ground. Not every team has that capability to do that.

You're onto something. Talk about sports entertainment. Thats more bang for your buck. More Cam for your clams.

Cam just stays on the field. Honestly he looks like he'd rather throw a pick 6 and get the **** back out there anyway rather than getting stopped. Less than 5 minutes to go and you actually stop our offense, you can actually have the ball at the place stopped or midfield whichever is closer to your goal to go.

There was a period of time circa 2005 to 2010 and I said . .

The Miami Hurricanes . . .WE ONLY PLAY ON SUNDAYS

Now it's WE ONLY PLAY ON OFFENSE. But **** it's a good show
