So he's going to use the increase in turnovers and sacks that we only managed by playing garbage opponents as a support for D'onofrio. Amazing.

Lmao at letting Logan Thomas sit in the pocket and beat you. A more passive mindset in football I've never seen.
 
I've never heard any defensive coordinator in my life go into a game with a goal of allowing the QB to stand comfortably in the pocket. My mind is blown right now.

THATS what has us fans scared. These guys are living and dying with this thing. Franchise said alot will be told about this staff with the Vtech game. I am ready to say alot will be told about this staff these next 3 games. ESPECIALLY since we still have an outside shot to win 10 games and the ACC title if Vtech slips up. Im not ready to throw Al under the bus yet BUT if we dont end the regular season 10-2, I want someone fired mainly Donofrio and Jethro.

I'm not buying the UNC blueprint thing. Teams were walking through us last year too. That blueprint's been there long before UNC. We just hadn't faced any teams with legit weapons before then. Even uf.ag threw the ball well with one WR and a low-eared twaat at QB. Only time he struggled was when we got heat. If you have a QB who can hit open receivers and decent receivers you can own Corch Al.

I said before the game that if we allowed him to do that then he'd pick us apart. If fans know that, and they don't, then they're more retarded than I thought they were.

That sounds like a guy who is fishing for responses and really has no idea what to say.

Wonder if AL is aware of the stats below, posted these on another thread:

In three years we have given up 500 yd or more 8 times; , 400+ yds 12 times, 300+ yds 5 times. We have only held teams under 300 yds on 5 occasions, included in these five games are these juggernauts: Savannah State, Florida Atlantic, and south forida. In fact the Florida Atlantic game this year was the first time we held an opponent under 300 yds since 11/19/2011 when we beat USF 6-3.

I count 20 games out of 33 (60%!!!!) games where we have given up 400 yds or more. 60 % of the time teams have torched us under Dorito. Cannot argue with the numbers..dorito must GO!!!

giving Dorito another year would be very detrimental for the program. it is very obvious right now that Dorito has to go and AG has to give up on his BS defensive philosophy and turn it over to someone competent.

This is exactly what I didn't want to hear. Yeah, those plays were huge and they were momentum changers. But I don't care if we have 9 turnovers, we should never allow this VT offense ranked 100and whatever to go for 550 yards on us. It's inexcusable. He can say whatever in public, but behind closed doors he best not be dismissing this defensive performance and blaming everything on the turnovers.

Hate to do this, but like the Shannon against a host of teams, this sounds like Randy speaking this morning. Come on Al, good teams can recover if you are not giving the **** QB and the offense 10 yards a pop.

He was asked yesterday about recievers running free every game- he said it was because of mental errors and missed tacles. One person said it seems you are playing too far off recievers & do you plan on playing more man-he said he doesn't know why he is saying that they are playing too far off and the whole we played more man to man vs vtech comment tweeted by reynolds.
 
if he really said that letting logan sit in the pocket was the plan that quote is right up there with randy when he said playing duke was hard due to having to walk from the locker room to the field
 
Keep pointing to the fumbles Al, but both of those were at least 50 yds out. It's not like they put them in the red zone. It just means it was an extra 100 yards ran against this weak *** defense.

yeah, this is the same mealy mouthed **** we heard with Shannon. guys making mistakes; mental errors; not trusting the system, etc. After a while of this happening you have to ask yourself "are our guys making mistakes because the scheme is too complicated?" or "are we not teaching this correctly?"

This is Al's scheme. If D'Onofrio is incompetent at X's & O's, then so is Al and that's a HUGE problem.

Let's pray that's not what's going on here.
