Don't know about "best", but there are multiple spots east of the interstate near GaTech.

There is a pedestrian tunnel under the interstate and at least one walkable bridge.

Epicurean is where I would stay but it is a maybe 25-30 minute walk to the stadium (same distance as the Loews). The Loews is closer to Piedmont Park if you care about that and is also nice.

I’m in Section 131. I believe GT ticket office told me 130 is also going to be Miami.

The Embassy across from the College Football Hall of Fame. They have a Ruth's Chris and you're in Centennial Park. It is about a 20-minute walk.

If you can get tickets in the Lexus deck. It comes with free beer and wine and the all you can eat catering is good. I sat there the last time we played Ga. Tech and it was worth it.

I personally wouldn’t stay there. No need or reason to stay downtown.
