Agreed. It was FAU, but ****! They actually made plays and stops!
How did FSUs OL look to others? From what I saw they were nothing special.
They were playing an undersized Pitt group devoid of talent and they did not dominate. Overall I thought our line looked very against FAU and they have been slammed for their performance lol
Winston, good passer, slow as **** running. Let's see what happens against a real team. Their RB's are average at best, I thought Wilder sucked,
pretty slow, we will have no problem stopping them. Offensive line not as good as last year. Their D ends blow, D line average, our O will smoke them. IMO, we have a better team than them across the board.
Pit will end up in last place in the ACC, horrible D, worse than ours last year. The won't win one game on the road in the ACC. Lucky to win 3 games. There is not one reason why we can't go 12-0 this season as long as we stay healthy. Now beating Clemson will be tough!

Strangely, Freeman and Wilder only got 19 carries between them.
No need to rip what they did tonight apart, because we are not a finished product yet ourselves.
Our performance vs FAU, a lesser opponent than Toledo and Pitt, was far from perfect.
Morris should have done what the Freshman did tonight vs FAU.
Just hope we can put it together quickly, and FSU can stay unbeaten until we meet.
I don't give a **** who they're playing, their offense looks alot more crisp than ours did against FAU.
I guess FSU's not "holding back" tonight like we were.

Why not rip them apart if someone sees fit? Thats all alot of people did with the FAU performance. You for example went after Morris. If O'Leary drops his TDs and Coley hangs on to his then the stat lines for both QBs look a little different.

Seriously?
I'm not trying to **** on their performance against a team that probably would have beat FAU by the same margin as we did. To make myself feel better about were we are.
They have some issues, but their's is not as glaring as 4 and 14 on 3rd down, with only 1 3rd down conversion in the 2nd half of the game.
Nor does it compare to a SR QB that is suppose to be the next great in a long line of Cane QB looking less than avg vs a team that went 3-9 last year.
The fact is O'Leary didn't drop that pass, vs all the drops we had, and Winston didn't throw a pick to a wide open LB, like Morris.
Ripping them apart isn't going to change anything.
People feel that some how digging through what ever little flaw will change something.
Until we start playing better than them vs better teams, we have no need to even talk ****.

You know what else won't change anything is you coming here telling people that they should act respectful of a rival until we play better against better teams or whatever the **** you wrote. Like anything you say or anyone else says is gonna change the outcome of this season. I have the need to talk **** as a Cane fan because I hate everything about FSU. I will talk **** about them for as long as I'm breathing.
If you want to continue to compare us to them after one game in completely different environments and completely different opponents in Week 2(FSU has a bye then Nevada) then please go ahead. Compare FAU to Pitt in an unfavorable way if you want, but I guarantee FAU has better athletes in the secondary and wouldn't pay the same type of "respect" to FSU WRs as Pitt did. So many people are so damned quick to love up FSU after one game. A game against an outmatched opponent with Big East caliber athletes on defense. So scared of FSU blowing by them that they let Winston play a glorified 7 on 7 game against them. "Lets pay them respect they deserve guysm" *****'em
Winston played well, but it doesn't imply impending doom for the entire ACC.

I come here to get away from the Winston slurpfest on twitter and ESPN and I read this smh.
Think I'm gonna puke.

Once u get that one QB thats all u need. To many fans on this site think if u put blue and orange on u suck or garnet and gold. Its the players, what hapened to the TEs go to fswho to die? NOqueerylooked god cuz he has a good qb now. There always gona be a problem because they recruit beter players plain and simple. We gotta recruit better and better on each level DL LB QB RB.....we gotta stack elite talent period. If they do it we can do it.Thats how we dominated them in the early 2gs we had more nfl players. Gotta give Jimbo his due he can recruit, I mean we stole Coley and they still got M Thomas.
Alot of fans get mad but they recruit better and until we start recruiting elite kids they will continue to be a problem. Winston looks better than SM but we will wait n see cuz its 1 game. I like qbs who can put touch and work the midle of the field, if SM did this he would be elite. For some reason hes like McNabb throwing at peoples feet on a reg basis. I dont trust SM and think he will be the reason we wont win the acc but we will still have a good season.
Our DL can beat fsus OL, to me thats there only weakness so far it seems.
