Where did I tell anyone not to discuss football RATIONALLY (rationally to me doesn't include thinking Jemima shyts gold nuggets or that Jambutt is a sudden genius). We don't all have to like what you like.

I'm certain I read something about how rationally analyzing the game is "as *** as it gets." I do understand not hanging off their nuts, but there's a difference between that and just talking football. I can't speak for others, but you won't find a single post from me "hanging" off their nuts. I'll sit here and watch their game and make observations. It's a football message board and what they do is relevant to us. Because I'd like only one thing more (beating UF) than beating them later in the year.

ive watched a sh*t ton of football this weekend...

And probbly by agood margin....Pitt has the worst secondary and defensive team speed ivwe seen allll weekend...Im not even joking.

The list includes Dematha Hs, St Thomas Aquinas, FAMU, Tennessee Martin...all had better secondary's and more team speed on d.....**** shane gordon's slow *** may be the fastest player on Pitts defense...

Actually got frustrated watching this game because it was nothing really to judge on FSU.

Winston looks to be a solid qb...but he is not all worldly like they are hyping...Pitt is just terrible...

FSU with all the defense they recruited with this switch to a 3-4 cant really rush the passer like im use to.....

Telvin Smith is still Telvin Smith...best player on their d imo...that skinny mo fo is sideline to sideline and always angry....

FSU imo will lose their normal allotment....those ends they currently have should be stonewalled when we play them....

But this game was worse thnan actually watching fsu's spring game...i mean Pitt seemed to not give a **** very early in this game....and seem to be afraid im speaking on their coaching staff....other than that first drive on o...they scrapped everything....

Pitt has 2 legit playmakers...one is Street and the other is the kid is aw in the PA Big 33 game.....that wr.....the rest of the team seemed to not want to be there.

Nah, at all. I think you're one of the best posters on any Canes message board. Just read something about analyzing/observing the game (as differentiated from waving a white flag, so to speak) being *** and don't want people to stop from giving their observations. Otherwise, this becomes a much more annoying circle jerk or **** throwing fest. My sole point on many of these threads is to encourage some form of reasonable discussion. That's all.

Nah, at all. I think you're one of the best posters on any Canes message board. Just read something about analyzing the game being *** and don't want people to stop from giving their observations. No difference here my brother I am as big a UM fan as it gets, I just like to study my opponent before I kick their ***. FSU is a good team and Winston balled out tonight doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. Trust me the U boys watched tonight too. Doesn't mean you cower you prep and get ready to compete that's what it is. Face it, FSU is not going to suck anytime soon. Do we really want them too? One week at a time and we'll be good..

Pitt's defense is in shambles. I mean that pass defense was just embarrassing. Winston looked good but I dont think he completed a pass to a covered WR all night, I mean that looked like my flag football games. Guys were open by 3-4 yards every single play.

I'll say this, Winston does seem to have a natural feel for the game that Manuel didn't possess.

I don't see anywhere where I sucked up FSU....strong secondary, qb lookin pretty good for his 1st game, (even though Pitt's defense is very weak) fsu front 7 lost talent, got weaker. Good stuff. Tough to tell anything because, as has been noted throughout the thread, WRs were running FREE everywhere. Someone said that FAU played better pass coverage, and that is somehow an accurate statement. There were times tonight when FSU WRs didn't have anyone within 6 yards of them in any direction.

Dumbo Fisher has a lot of Andy Reid in him. He was airing it out almost as if to say, "Look at my shiny new toy. Look how smart I am."

It will probably bite him in the *** this year, just like it did against NC State last year.

Winston was impressive, but he's unproven until he looks competent against a solid defense. Pitt looked lost in the back 7. There were gaping holes on 3rd and 17 and other favorable down & distances. Plus their tackling was atrocious. They should've had several more TFLs/sacks.

My biggest takeaway from the game was that FSU's defense seems to have taken a step back. Pitt was able to run the ball, and protect Savage. They couldn't get pressure without blitzing, and there were some receivers open. Savage is just awful, though.

Anyways, **** FSU.

I would love to have seen this Miami offesnse with, Jedd. That being said, minus two drops, 34-6 would've been, 48-6. That being said, the only glaring difference I see between the, 2013 Criminoles, and the 2013 Canes, is D-Line. Pitt is awful and Winston was throwing to open targets all-night. Our offense is much more explosive and honestly, if receivers had caught passes, ran right routes, Morris would have stud-like numbers. Long story short, we curb-stomp Florida, roll FSU, and sadly, come up a bit shy against Clemson. But the moral of this rant is, FSU is a ******* *** school who has a coach with the face of a midget!!!!

Probably the biggest thing to note if it actually stays this way. Those twitchy DL we're accustomed to watching from FSU are apparently being asked to play more gap control. Jernigan and there other guy (Mccalister?) were lined up over Center a bunch. Prefer them there than lined up over one of our Guards and shooting through A gaps like the past couple years. #22 on their team is all over the place, but overaggressive. Would like to use that against him, if possible. Christian Jones looks awkward in his new role.

We need to beat these f'in people this year, man. My wish is for all of their fans to feel the way I felt after our 2010 game.

They were playing an undersized Pitt group devoid of talent and they did not dominate. Overall I thought our line looked very against FAU and they have been slammed for their performance lol
