Basically, teams were defending UConn by sagging off of (dorking) Andre Jackson who is not a great shooter. UConn's offense stalled, Jackson was taking too many long shots, and we were losing. I think McDermott & Creighton tried it first, Miller and Xavier used it as well as others (like Pitino in the 1st round).
I don't think UConn is on their Christmas card list, either. The refs hate Miami
Live look at sad houston and Texas fans not even only crying about their teams losing so they can’t watch them play but then the second wave of not even getting your money back on the tickets your overconfidence made you buyOk, so continuing the conversation from earlier in the week, you can get into the building for just $40+fees on Stubhub right now.
You can get a lower level ticket for $108+fees.
You can get a ticket in the back of one of the eight sections that are court side, behind the benches and across from the benches for $458 +fees right now.
I expect even better opportunities as the day goes on, and if you are there in person, you can probably get in for almost nothing when it tips.
That won’t even get you in a club on south beach
Can Caitlin play for us. Just askingThis is how Iowa beat SCar last night, they sagged the paint and forced SCar's perimeter players to beat em'. If you don't have at least 2 sharpshooters on your roster then you're dead in the tourney.
I hope it can get me the Daytona clubs shiThat won’t even get you in a club on south beach
This is a take I have not heard from any UM fan yet. While most of you believe you can win (and I would agree that you can win), I would say you will need, the the very least, an above average shooting % to stay with UCONNUConn got Timme in foul trouble early against Gonzaga. If we can keep Norchad out of foul trouble the game will be much easier for us.
We don't run our offense through Norchad but he's the bulk of our inside presence.
Also Gonzaga was bad all tournament from 3pt range and were hideous against UConn. I think their starting guards went like 1-10.
UConn hasn't played a 40 minute game all tournament. They haven't even really trailed. We shoot average today and UConn will sweat for the first time.
