So here we are it’s game day and I must admit my expectations are high for a Miami team to represent themselves well. Can they do it against the elephant in the room there’s this little part of me that says we could win this thing but the depth and physicality of this UCONN team just might be too much. That being said I’m so proud and so happy to have had such a great year. Top 4 finish is not chickenfeed. GO CANES !

It’s game day!!! let’s do this!!

I just rewatched the Canes / Texas game again last night and Texas really came out and gave us their best shot in the 1st half. Everything went right for them and they still couldn’t put this Canes squad away!! This Canes team is the most battle tested team in the country and it’s not even close!

This years Canes team just feels like it’s a team of destiny. Bring on UConn!! This is gonna be fun!!

I didn’t know until I just checked something that he is the #1 NBA prospect on the team. I did however just read that most connected to the team say he’s tough as nails and expects him to play though at possibly 75 percent.

If it is/was a stomach bug it’s very hard to stop it at 1 person.

If Jordan Hawkins has the flu/stomach bug and it only hit him yesterday there’s a decent chance others are going to start feeling it too. That flight from Conn to Houston, team meetings, hanging out in each other’s rooms etc exposes a lot of people. We’ve all dealt with it too, one minute you’re fine the next minute you start sweating and hitting the toilet. BTW his roommate is Tristen Newton who plays 20+ minutes a game

Ya know they talk about metrics and all the logic to build a ship that UCONN is and should be the strong favorite Yet and oddly I have heard virtually nothing about Miami winning as the underdog.
Emotion is in many times the great equalizer in sports and we see it everyday.
And the Canes thrive on it by coining the phrase ‘Don’t pick us’. My guess is UCONN would also like to be playing as the underdog. 🤔
